<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Eagle Academy II's 2027 QB [player_tooltip player_id='584989' first='Martin' last='Koppelman'] and Curtis HS junior [player_tooltip player_id='344519' first='Anthony' last='Caratelli'] are the quarterbacks you can watch representing NY Hustle in the video below. Hustle opened up play at 8 AM Saturday morning, waking up scouts in attendance with highlight plays left and right. It's tough to decide who out of the following names deserves the most credit when writing about Hustle's collective efforts.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2170603' first='Juvens' last='Lindor'] was easily one of the best 10, 15 players present at our event, both from a recruiting perspective and performance-wise. Lindor's catch radius and hand-eye coordination were on full display for those who weren't familiar with his game, myself included.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1355480' first='Zy'eare' last='Schulters'] was arguably the toughest guard and best producer on offense. He's ranked even higher than Lindor on our 2027 New York board.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Colleague and friend Cory Lemer was beside me watching most of Hustle early Saturday and raved about the studs on the roster, most of whom attend the same school, Eagle Academy II.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The third name I have to mention is Elizabeth's [player_tooltip player_id='1305209' first='Qua'Yon' last='Williams']. Again, blending both recruiting stature and performance, there's a high chance that the hosting venue's [player_tooltip player_id='1305209' first='Qua'Yon' last='Williams'] will land on my Top Ten 18U skill players list post-event. Primarily playing at corner, there's not much of him in the video above, as mostly offensive reps are featured. Still, he was elite from a technical standpoint and as dialed in as a DB can be in a setting that often sets DBs up to fail. Williams easily put forth one of the best defensive back performances in the entire 18U bracket. I'm excited to show off his defensive reps in a later post. While he still produced on offense, his defensive prowess and performance stood out to me more than anything.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Both QBs performed moderately well. Hustle was my pick to make it to the 18U Championship game, but they eventually lost in bracket play a bit earlier than I expected.
