Florida has long been a hotbed for high school football talent. Year after year, the Sunshine State produces some of the nation's most electric prospects. From game-breaking speed to next-level agility and pure, raw athleticism, Florida athletes consistently set the tone on Friday nights, and college coaches across the country take notice.

With the 2025 season now in the rearview, we're turning our focus to the players whose stock is rising across the state.
Every athlete on this list has the tools to play at the next level. Some already hold multiple offers, while others are just beginning to gain traction, but all possess the ability to compete in college football in the right fit.

This group features a mix of nationally regarded standouts and under-the-radar sleepers who deserve serious attention from college programs. Simply put, this list is loaded with difference-makers.

Prep Redzone Florida will continue to support and spotlight these athletes as they chase their goal of playing college football.

Demonta Williams III – NG, Choctawhatchee High
Height/Weight: 5'10", 280 lbs
Season Stats: 20 tackles, 2 TFL, 2 sacks. 3.1 GPA

Scouting Report:
Williams is a compact, low-pad nose guard who plays with strong leverage and a powerful base. He anchors well against double teams and shows quick hands to shed blockers and disrupt interior running lanes. His production in limited stats highlights his ability to occupy blockers and make plays in the trenches.

Analysis:
Williams projects as a classic nose guard who can clog the middle in 3- or 4-man fronts. Adding more consistent production and improving overall quickness off the snap will help him stand out, but his size, strength, and ability to hold the point of attack give him solid developmental value.

[player_tooltip player_id='1684064' first='Rah'Saan' last='Williams'] – DT/DE, Norland High
Height/Weight: 6'1", 250 lbs
Season Stats: 15 tackles, 4 TFL, 2 sacks (5 GP). 4.8 40, 3.5 GPA

Scouting Report:
Williams is an athletic, long defensive lineman with good first-step quickness and the ability to penetrate gaps. He shows active hands and the frame to add weight while maintaining speed. His per-game TFL and sack production reflect disruptive potential when healthy and on the field.

Analysis:
Williams projects as a versatile defensive end or 3-technique tackle with athletic upside. Staying healthy for a full season and continuing to add functional strength will be important. His verified speed and early production give him clear tools to develop into a rotational or starting piece.

[player_tooltip player_id='2124089' first='Jah'Cari' last='White'] – DT, Spanish River High
Height/Weight: 6'2", 270 lbs
Season Stats: 33 tackles, 4 TFL, 1 sack

Scouting Report:
White is a sizable, physical defensive tackle who occupies space well and holds the point of attack. He shows solid balance, active hands to shed blockers, and the ability to make plays in the gaps. His frame and strength allow him to anchor against the run while flashing occasional penetration.

Analysis:
White projects as an interior lineman with the size and strength to develop into a more consistent contributor. Improving his strength and increasing his disruptive production (TFL/sacks) will be key to raising his ceiling, but his solid build and baseline production provide a good foundation for continued development.

[player_tooltip player_id='895508' first='Rashad' last='Walker'] – DT/DE, Somerset Academy Canyons High
Height/Weight: 5'11", 250 lbs
Season Stats: 32 tackles, 13 TFL, 3 sacks

Scouting Report:
Walker is a disruptive, gap-shooting defensive lineman who excels at penetrating the backfield and creating negative plays. Despite his shorter stature, he plays with excellent leverage, quickness, and relentless effort. His high TFL total highlights his ability to shoot gaps and finish.

Analysis:
Walker projects as an athletic 3-technique tackle or defensive end who can generate constant pressure. Adding more size and strength while maintaining his quickness will help him hold up against bigger offensive lines, but his disruption rate already shows strong playmaking ability.

[player_tooltip player_id='1870811' first='Josiah' last='Sims'] – DT/DE, Lincoln High
Height/Weight: 6'2", 270 lbs
Season Stats: 20 tackles. 3.5 GPA, 5.3 40

Scouting Report:
Sims is a long, athletic defensive lineman with good size and the frame to continue developing. He shows solid first-step quickness and the ability to use his length to keep blockers at bay. His verified 5.3 forty demonstrates the mobility to pursue laterally and make plays outside the tackle box.

Analysis:
Sims projects as a developmental defensive end or tackle with intriguing athletic traits. Increasing his production and refining his hand placement and pass-rush repertoire will be the next steps. His size, speed, and academics provide a strong foundation for continued growth.
