Unranked 2027s With Interesting Upside

Urban went slightly overlooked on a loaded defense, but his impact was hard to deny as he tallied 56 tackles, 17.5 TFLs, 1.5 sacks, an interception, and a forced fumble. Urban started at outside linebacker, where he flashed the ability to be an effective downhill defender who can make splash plays at/behind the LOS or can flip his hips to drop back into his coverage assignment. Urban can fire off like a cannon when he keys in on the run, showing the burst to close on the ball in a flash and football IQ to effectively fill his gaps. He uses great technique and power at the point of contact to ensure the stop. Kennedy has the strength to maintain blocks on the edge before ripping through to continue pursuing the ball, and he can press linemen when he decides to go straight through them. Excellent motor. Unfortunately, Kadin has been shelved due to injuries for the past two seasons and will look to return this fall for the Knights. When on the field, Kadin provides Southeast with a RB who can handle the duties for all three downs with a unique running style and ability to catch out of the backfield. Despite not seeing the field much in recent seasons, Kadin still remains one of the more explosive athletes in the '27 class with a reported 10.58 100m dash and a 23'2" long jump. Demarkus ended the year as the T-Birds' rushing leader with 43 carries for 407 yards and five touchdowns. Robinson is an angry runner who can bounce off tackles and dish out punishment to defenders who get in his way. He has a powerful base that keeps pumping through contact, allowing him to tack on additional yardage and giving him a rep for "falling forward" when he does get tackled. Good vision to find cutback lanes, with the agility and sharp change of direction to hit subtle cuts and hit those gaps. Great job following his blocks as well. RJ completed 50% of his passes for 902 yards and five touchdowns while giving us glimpses of his upside last season. RJ has the measurables that coaches will look for at 6'2" and 200 pounds with underrated athleticism (4.68 40-yard dash) that make him an interesting evaluation. He is very quick and decisive when making a decision with the ball and shows the arm strength to rip it into tight windows over the middle of the field. Vitera uses his feet and instincts well when trying to avoid the pass rush and can find ways to still step into his throws despite defenders around him. RJ's touch and ball placement look a little more refined from watching some offseason 7v7 clips. Kantrelle seems to have added some size, jumping from 215 to 230 this offseason, giving him some extra muscle to go with his lengthy 6'3" frame. He displays a great get-off with a quick first step that helps him explode downhill. Kantrelle has solid lateral quickness and the closing speed to pressure QBs, resulting in sacks or errant throws. Good job holding the edge when defending the run.
