An All-District performer as a sophomore, the first name that hit my radar on this prospect list was 2028 athlete Jacob Ortner from Ainsworth. Jacob is an athlete that has a high football IQ and on tape appears bigger than his measurables show off at 6'1 160 pounds. He has great vision after the catch and is a problem to catch in the open field. He also has great hands thru contact as the position fit looks like a wide receiver at the next-level, but could also be a contributor in the return game as well. Surely looks like a prospect that can play on Saturdays in my eyes.

Zaine is a wide receiver that needs to get a highlight tape put together ASAP, as the playmaking ability is certainly there for another 2028 prospect out of Ainsworth. His aiblity to stretch the field on horizontal routes with his vision at his size is eye-catcing right away as you can tell that this young man is instinctive when given little space in the open field. That football IQ levels into the defensive side of the ball at linebacker as Zaine was more balanced in pass coverage and with his run-stopping ability than I expected. Not one I can find on Twitter as of yet.

Wide receivers are a strong commodity in northern Nebraska, as Dominic Beebout of Valentine is another one that struck a chord on tape in the 2027 class. The 5'10 160 pound, shows off as an agile route-runner that is solid at the top of his route and you see his twitch pop out with seperation on short and intermediate routes. He's got the athleticism to take the top of the secondary too on deep routes and is a wide receiver in that slot that in my eval, plays above his measurables. Looks like a WR prospect that could be a good small school target at the next level.

Parker is the lone running back on our prospect list at the running back position as one that pops out with his sudden burst he accumulates out of the backfield. The 5'11 165 pounder from Valentine, blends his elusiveness with good durability on first contact which seems to create yards after contact on a persistent basis. He also has the balance to run downhill and the change of direction to get around his defenders as well. With more frame to add in the weight room this offseason, Parker is another sound small school target at the next-level.
