PrepRedzone 7v7 Circuit 15U: “Lets Get Defensive” 2026

Every position on the field showed out in some way at these tournaments, and it's been an absolute pleasure to cover these events. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In this article it's time to talk about everyone's favorite side of the field the defensive side. Everyone knows what wins championships and there was no short of talent on the defensive side of the ball. He navigated through his middle linebacker spot very well and regularly was tasked in straight man to man coverage. Kareem has good size and he carries it well in zone and man coverage. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He was best when he can use his instincts and read the quarterbacks eye's. In these 7v7 tournaments he showed the ability to play multiple positions on the field including some WR on the offensive side of the ball. What really caught my eye though is his defensive prowess. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Collins was all over the place in these games, he has really good closing speed and above average cover skills at defensive back. Not to put him in any box at all, he is great in man coverage as well, but his zone coverage is what is going to make him some money. Bull finds his spot very well, and has the play recognition to give the offense fits. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Even when the offense finds a way to complete a pass on this stingy SW7 defense Bull rallies very fast to stop the ball carrier. Bush plays 7v7 as though everyone was in full pads. [player_tooltip player_id='2136425' first='Jayvien' last='Bush'] is an aggressive football player on the defensive side of the ball. He loves to play press man coverage out on the perimeter. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bush wants to get his hands on you quickly and he plays this technique very well. He can flip, turn his hips and run with the best of them. Even with his big size he almost glides around the field and makes plays. Quarterbacks really started to think twice when throwing around this young man because he has such great length. With his long arms and speed it's extremely difficult to fit the football around him.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Denney played like a premier defender and he usually plays with his hand in the dirt with pads on, so that just shows how athletic this man is. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
