The Music City Mayhem 7v7 tournament hosted by Prep Redzone last weekend featured prospects at all age levels and for my coverage specifically, it gave me a strong unfiltered look at who the next players up in the state of Tennessee are.

Throughout both days of competition, I was able to see plenty of rising stars that will soon hit the high school ranks, but four high school freshman caught my attention quickly and in showed out when I was able to watch their team perform.

These are the observations that I made on these four prospects that shined in the offseason tournament.

Riverdale 2029 WR [player_tooltip player_id='1538130' first='Luke' last='Tritch']

[player_tooltip player_id='1538130' first='Luke' last='Tritch'] is a known commodity as a reliable slot receiver after breaking out as a freshman at Riverdale in one of the top offenses and he was the top target over the middle of the field for the NPA Dream Team 15U squad.

The first thing you notice is how much he has begun to fill out his frame, already adding a strong amount of muscle to his frame that will go a long way over the middle of the field in the fall. He continues to become sudden out of breaks, which helped him get open attacking the second level of defenses and along the goal line.

The route running and strength have taken steps forward, which will be very translatable next season as he helps lead one of the best passing attacks in the entire state of Tennessee.

Blackman 2029 WR [player_tooltip player_id='1633823' first='Jamison' last='Beshearse']

[player_tooltip player_id='1633823' first='Jamison' last='Beshearse'] is another player on the NPA Dream Team 15U squad and he is someone that can make an impact this year for the Blackman football team under new head coach Will Hester.

He is still developing the nuances of the position, but he has a good frame and is a natural mover that has the potential to get open at any level of the field. I first noticed his potential at a NPA workout earlier in the offseason and he showed up in the lone game I witnessed of his in the playoff bracket, hauling in a score.

While his big breakout might be two years away, next year will be one that he impacts in a competitive Rutherford County region.

Tyner 2029 ATH Titan Turner

Titan Turner is a versatile athlete that has experience at quarterback, receiver and defensive back primarily, showing encouraging upside all over the football field. Last weekend, was my first chance to see him and he certainly looks the part with a very strong frame that holds good size.

He made his biggest impact at safety, taking away the middle of the field in the 14U classification filled with talented receiving weapons. His size and strength overwhelmed opponents at the catch point and he picked off a couple of passes.

As a receiver, he was a reliable big target for quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='2112090' first='Marshall' last='Manning'] for both days of the event. He has exciting YAC ability that does not get showcased in an event like this, but he showed he can win in a variety of ways, this time attacking the middle of the field.

Siegel 2029 RB/TE/LB [player_tooltip player_id='1553506' first='Ayden' last='Maldonado']

[player_tooltip player_id='1553506' first='Ayden' last='Maldonado'] is a new player on my radar and it is hard to ignore what he did last weekend as a tight end and linebacker for his team. Despite being a tight end, he was one of the best receiving threats in attendance due to one word that sums him up well: strong.

He has a strong frame with strong hands and showcased a strong ability to get consistently open for his quarterback. He helped his team make a strong push in the event and was a pain for every defense to handle. Siegel utilizing him next season as a big running back potentially could be very exciting, providing a reliable anchor to the offense that can do a lot of different things.

On defense, he just flat out took away the middle of the field in the underneath aspect, forcing teams to go horizontal and not vertical. While he has already filled into the frame of a veteran linebacker as a young player, he showed the ability to move quickly to close down passing lanes and was a massive X-factor for his team.
