He has shown me good hands, body control, physicality, and route running ability since I first saw him as an eighth grader and has kept improving his skills every year since. He's a reliable, strong‑handed pass catcher who plays physical and bigger that his size. Uses his strength and toughness to pick up additional yards in his runs after the catch. A glider who is more quick than a burner. Has good speed to stretch the field and make deep grabs. Had 45 catches for 796 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='563273' first='Blake' last='Thomas'] | 5'10" 170 | Rockhurst |
- A speedy receiver with great body control, and natural ball skills. Does a good job stretching the field on deep throws or can catch the ball in space and use his quickness and fluid moment and smooth running ability with quick burst and acceleration to make a big run after the catch. Has great concentration and tracks the ball well. Separates from defenders pretty easily. Makes quick cuts to leave opponents behind. Had a good junior season and landed an offer from Harvard. Made the decision to shut things down and commit to the Crimson. I expect more schools will continue to recruit in spite of that. Look for an even bigger season with much of the returners back from last year's talented offense.
