Middle TN Elite 7v7 Practice: Top 15U Standouts

There was an abundance of talented prospects in Murfreesboro on Wednesday night as Middle Tennessee Elite held one of their weekly practices. I was fortunate enough to attend and catch a glimpse of the talent on the 12U, 14U, and 15U rosters. To continue my coverage, here's my list of the top 15U standouts that made their presence known all throughout practice.    Establishing himself at the helm of the offense was [player_tooltip player_id='1718122' first='Easton' last='Lee'], an athlete/quarterback at Siegel High School. Lee caught my attention during throwing drills, proving his great arm strength and accurate passing ability. Lee was also extremely impressive during scrimmage action against the 14U team, throwing for a touchdown and the game-winning two-point conversion.     I was additionally impressed with [player_tooltip player_id='1737892' first='Bralan' last='Key'], a linebacker at Riverdale High School. On top of excellent size and strength, Key stood out with his electric speed off the snap, showcasing great catching ability. I also really liked how Key could use his versatile edge to make the catch, proving he could elevate off the ground to make the grab.     Also making a difference was [player_tooltip player_id='1719722' first='Logan' last='Johnson'], an athlete at Riverdale High School. I really liked Johnson at receiver, proving his ability to make the challenging catch during the scrimmage. I also really liked how Johnson adapted after the catch, using his strong footwork and electric speed to juke out the defense and pick up some extra yards.     Another player to catch my attention was [player_tooltip player_id='2133674' first='Rowan' last='Scott'], an athlete/defensive back at Riverdale High School. Scott really impressed me defensively during the 14U vs. 15U scrimmage, proving his ability to read the offense like a book and get in prime position for the deflection. Scott did a great job of locking down receivers all throughout the scrimmage.     One of the more explosive prospects on the field was [player_tooltip player_id='2144006' first='Cooper' last='Youell'], a wide receiver at Middle Tennessee Christian School. Youell was one of my favorite receiving weapons on the 15U roster. Youell was highly explosive down the stretch, hauling in a few beautiful passes during throwing drills. Youell also came in clutch during scrimmage action, getting off the ground to haul in the two-point conversion.     Making a considerable difference offensively was [player_tooltip player_id='2110012' first='Lathen' last='Coleman'], a linebacker/running back at Riverdale High School. Coleman was locked in from start to finish, impressing me down the stretch with his ability to consistently haul in the deep pass. I also really liked how Coleman played during the scrimmage, hauling in the impressive touchdown pass.     I was additionally impressed with [player_tooltip player_id='2113883' first='Issieah' last='Barr'], an athlete at Smyrna High School. Barr was one of the first prospects to catch my eye as the rising sophomore has outstanding size and a great wingspan. Barr did a great job of utilizing his footwork and speed to win his reps. I also liked Barr's ability to haul in the deep pass.     Another prospect to catch my attention was Maxwell Allen, an athlete for Middle TN Elite. What really impressed me about Allen was his ability to show out on both sides of the ball. Offensively, Allen has amazing speed and can get off the ground to catch the deep pass. Allen was also a major defensive weapon during the scrimmage, proving his ability to read the offense like a book and swat the pass to the ground.     Also worth mentioning on this list is Ethan Evetts, an athlete at Stewart's Creek High School. Evetts made his presence known during throwing drills, showcasing excellent athleticism and catching ability down the stretch. I really liked how Evetts utilized his strong footwork and electric speed to race into position for the deep ball. Evetts also impressed with his ability to be versatile during one-on-ones.
