Inside Westfield: Big-Impact 2028 Prospects Set to Fill Big Shoes

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We stopped by Westfield High School this week to get the latest intel on the Shamrocks, who are looking to return to Lucas Oil Stadium and hopefully win a state title this season after falling short in back-to-back seasons against Brownsburg. Everts has immense potential. He has a great size-speed combination and great ball skills with good adjustment high/low. His willingness to leap and catch in traffic and still come down with possession of the ball is uncanny. Projected to be one of Indiana's best in the Class of 2028, Noble has great adjustment high/low and comes off the LOS with good burst and acceleration. Noble is dangerous after the catch, making defenders miss and winning in any footrace. Noble is likely to see his business pick up from a recruiting standpoint sooner rather than later. So much of Westfield's success or failure will depend on how the 6-foot-2, 170-pound quarterback performs. Melvin, like his older brother, is a legit dual-threat with a cannon for an arm. He has great deep-ball accuracy and is very shifty in space with the ball in his hands. He finished with 1,318 yards passing and 260 rushing yards last season. His first-step quickness, twitch and speed are top-shelf qualities. He takes great angles to the ball against the run and flashes the potential to be one of the top edge prospects in the state for the Class of 2028. At 6-foot-5, 225 pounds, Vandegriff has added bulk and still has a tall, long, and very athletic frame with which to add bulk and get better.
