Football City Clash 14U Session One MVP Performers

25 total 14U teams are competing for their ticket to the PRZ 7v7 National Championship in April, and have shown out during day one of pool play at the Football City Clash in Rock Hill, SC! We'll cover all of our Top Performers over the next few days, but here are some of the best of the best MVP Performers from session one of the loaded 14U group on Saturday!    2030 Lowcountry Dawgz WR [player_tooltip player_id='1301767' first='Nathyus' last='Fabor'] was one of the clear standouts from Session One, bringing a rare mix of length, athleticism, and natural receiver instincts for this age group. He consistently created problems in 1on-1 matchups, using his size and body control to win at the catch point. What really separated him was his ability to go up and get the football, elevating over defenders with confidence and strong hands to finish plays, especially in the red zone. His catch radius gives quarterbacks a wide window to trust, and he made the most of it all day. Fabor didn't just make catches; he made statements, and by the end of the session, he had firmly established himself as one of the top receivers in attendance.     2029 Lowcountry Dawgz QB [player_tooltip player_id='2155734' first='Jake' last='Zamostny'] turned in one of the top quarterback performances of the morning, showing command and confidence throughout. He attacked the sidelines with touch and velocity, consistently placing throws where his receivers could make plays without breaking stride and away from defenders. His trust in his playmakers stood out, and he did a great job spreading the ball around to keep the offense moving. Zamostny wasn't afraid to push it downfield either, taking his shots and delivering with accuracy. He looked in control from start to finish and separated himself as one of the top passers in Session One.     2030 Blitz Black QB [player_tooltip player_id='1646229' first='Rylan' last='Crooks'] put together a strong showing, operating the offense efficiently. He consistently delivered accurate ball placement, making life easy on his receivers and keeping drives on schedule. What stood out was his ability to read the field, calmly working through progressions and finding the right option even when his first look was taken away. Crooks showed a polished feel for the position, mixing velocity and touch to fit throws into the right windows. He played with control and awareness all session, proving to be one of the more reliable quarterbacks in attendance.     2030 No Days Off QB Kevin Sanders brought a physical presence to the position and backed it up with his play. His stocky build translated into real arm strength, driving the ball with zip over the middle while still showing the touch to layer throws when needed. He kept defenses honest by taking vertical shots and forcing coverage across the entire field. Sanders saved his best moment for when it mattered most, leading his team to an overtime win over Carolina Vice and capping it off with a clutch two-point conversion pass. He played with confidence, making him one of the more impactful quarterbacks of the session.     2029 Fort Mill Saints QB [player_tooltip player_id='2155235' first='Cooper' last='Davis'] was the engine behind one of the most explosive offenses of Session One, leading his group to a perfect 4-0 record in pool play. With multiple games over 30 points and a session-high 42 in a single outing, he consistently had the offense rolling. Davis did an excellent job distributing the ball to a talented group around him, ensuring everyone stayed involved and elevating their play. His accuracy showed up at every level of the field, and he operated with a steady confidence that never wavered. When it was all said and done, he made a strong case as the top quarterback of the session.     2030 Fort Mill Saints ATH Mason Steigerwald may not have the biggest frame on the field, but it doesn't take long to notice the impact he makes. He's a shifty, elusive athlete who consistently creates separation and finds open space, making him a reliable option whenever his quarterback needs a play. Steigerwald has a natural feel for getting open and turning short gains into more, using quickness and instincts to keep defenders off balance. He plays with a scrappy edge and toughness that stand out for his size, bringing energy every rep and proving to be a key piece of a high-powered offense.     2030 Carolina Vice QB Ben Chriscoe settled in as the morning went on and really started to find his rhythm late in the session. He showed steady improvement from game to game, growing more confident and decisive with each drive. Despite a smaller frame, he stepped up in a big way for his team, keeping them competitive and delivering when it mattered. Chriscoe did a great job spreading the ball around to multiple targets and built trust with his receivers as the day progressed. By the end, he was making some big-time completions and playing with noticeable confidence.     2030 Tennessee Brigade ATH Cole Fritz once again proved why he's a consistent standout at these events, turning in another big-time performance on both sides of the ball. He's a plus athlete with an explosive build for his age, and it shows every time he steps on the field. Offensively, he runs clean routes and creates separation with ease, making it tough for defenders to stay attached. On the other side, his range and athleticism allow him to cover ground and make plays in space. Fritz brings a dynamic presence every snap, and this was another impressive showing that reinforced his reputation.     2029 Fort Mill Saints ATH [player_tooltip player_id='2155277' first='Sheldon' last='Erickson'] was a true two-way difference maker throughout Session One, impacting the game every time he stepped on the field. He has a well-built frame for his age, which clearly shows the work he's put in, and it translates directly to his athleticism and physical style of play. Offensively, he was a top target in one of the most explosive passing attacks of the day, consistently making plays and coming through in key moments. On defense, he held his own at safety, showing range and awareness while adding even more value to his team. Erickson produced across all four games, putting together one of the more complete performances of the session.     2030 Springfield Spartans ATH Jaylen Cannon wasted no time making his presence felt, emerging as the top playmaker for his team on both sides of the ball. Even with his squad smaller than many of the competition, he consistently stood out against bigger, talented athletes with his effort and production. Cannon's versatility showed up every game, finding ways to impact offensively while holding his own defensively. He proved he was their best athlete from start to finish, and with continued physical development, he has clear high upside in his game moving forward.     2030 Team CJ Black QB [player_tooltip player_id='1660512' first='Meyer' last='Passino'] set the tone early in Session One, kicking off a strong run of quarterback play with an impressive showing. He threw a clean, catchable ball all morning, mixing touch with the ability to drive it when needed. Passino showed a good feel for the position, working through his reads and finding the right option without forcing throws. He was comfortable attacking all areas of the field, whether pushing it downfield or placing throws along the sidelines. It was a poised and polished performance that made Passino stand out right from the start.
