What I love, perhaps, the most about it is that after hours of film being watched, I get to highlight and celebrate some of the best film that I watched. Using the Prep Redzone platform, I highlight these prospects and share them with you. After evaluating and ranking over 830 prospects, I am excited to present you this select-group who had film that I enjoyed and considered to be "must-see."

Be sure to follow me on Twitter for the latest New Jersey high school football prospect news and not miss a beat!

A running back out of South Jersey's Kipp Cooper Norcross Academy, [player_tooltip player_id='2004609' first='Torey' last='Jones'] is a quality back that would be a positive addition for any program. Jones uses his stiff arm to eschew low, would-be tacklers away. Additionally, we have seen Jones show a burst of speed in the open field. This same speed allows him to gain a step and the angle to the sideline as well. A disciplined runner, we see him follow his blockers. In addition to his clear, second speed, Jones high points the ball, using his hands, through traffic. Lastly, Jones moves quickly and subtly - just enough to get defenders out of position.

Another prospect I am torn between offense or defense, [player_tooltip player_id='1940825' first='Tylor' last='Hunter'] adds himself to the endless litany of athletes to come out of Plainfield. Alternating between safety and corner, Hunter does an awesome job of bumping and disrupting timing of routes. With the unique ability to comfortably play linebacker depth, and even in the box, he has the ability to run with just abut everyone. More of a body-check type of tackler, he will prefer to light a ball carrier up when a option to execute a fundamental tackle is available; that said, he has shown outstanding gator tackling technique. Last word for defense is that Hunter times his blitzes well and screams down hill to fill the alley. On offense we see that Hunter uses his hands to catch the ball, while high pointing it at its apex. This, clearly, makes him prone to win 5050 jump ball, winning those as he fights for positioning like he is jostling for a rebound. This does not, however, make him exempt from underneath routes. We see on film that he is apt at running pivot/returns and can change direction well. Lastly, Hunter adjusts to the ball when it is thrown in all directions, even if he initially turns the wrong way. Hunter's college prospects will depend on his combine performance.

There is something that warms my heart about linebackers who read their keys clearly and get down hill. That same something warms my heart about [player_tooltip player_id='1662355' first='Zachary' last='Cipot']. Cipot gets reads, gets down hill, and shoots windows ad nauseam. This is likely due to the fact that he is the son of a coach. As a tackler, he does an awesome job of targeting the shins and finishing with a gator roll; however, with a running start he will execute shoulder tackles. When breaking up passes, we see Cipot deliver his body to would-be receivers.

Some prospects are just born to be running backs, as is the case with [player_tooltip player_id='1922178' first='Zamar' last='Garmany']. Garmany has no problem finding the holes in gap scheme runs. As a stout runner, he showcases more speed than you would necessarily think at times. At his best, Garmany bowls himself with low pad level. When doing so, defenders miss, but Garmany also sort of gains momentum and is never bounced off balance when doing this.

In recent years, Phillipsburg has produced some outstanding linebackers - which now includes [player_tooltip player_id='1924092' first='Ziyahn' last='McGurn']. McGurn moves well, but also packs a punch. Linemen who come at him, he brings plenty of physicality to avoid getting blocked before it ever happens. McGurn runs well too, knowing to get his hands on #2 when walked out and instinctually looks to tip passes that are in flight through any windows. That same ability to run comes up again as he can chase anyone to the sideline while maintaining leverage. Like any outstanding run stuffer he reads his keys well, getting over the top and in position to make easy stops. Overall, McGurn is a well coached, disciplined linebackers who has a multi-faceted game and does many things well.
    <h2
