The parade of talent continued into the afternoon session. There were a lot of close games that went down to the wire. Let's take a look at some of the players who shined.

WR Chi Poynter (Playmakers Elite)- The P in Poynter must stand for playmaker because that's exactly what he was. Chi possesses a well-built frame. That he used to body up defenders. He his athleticism at his size was impressive. His highlight play for the day was a 50-50 ball that he went up over the defender to snag one handed. He was a problem for defenses.

QB Demetrius Neal-Nesbit (Ohio Players White)- Neal-Nesbit is a lefty quarterback with a smooth delivery. I thought he did a good job of hitting the underneath stuff and taking his shots when they were there. Demetrius played with a quiet confidence as he led his offense.

QB Robert Cummings (Bay City Blitz)- Cummings had a solid day as he helped lead his Bay City Blitz to a 2-1 record in pool play. Cummings has quick throwing motion and was decisive in his reads. I didn't see many balls touch the ground when I was watching. He did a great job of spreading the ball around to the open man.

WR Ethan Tidwell (AR III)- Tidwell was a field stretcher. On numerous occasions, I saw him get behind the defense. One of those times it resulted in a long touchdown catch. Ethan has what I like to call easy speed and I think sometimes the cornerbacks would misjudge it until it was too late.

DB Alie Kamara (Made)- Kamara was a rock in Made's defensive backfield. He shows off good length and fluid hips. He's able to flip his hips and turn and run with ease. He did a great job using his ball skills to contest 50-50 balls. I really liked the angles he took and his closing speed is excellent.

QB Javon Thompson (Harm Elite)- Thompson was a key cog in an offense that help the Harm Elite to a 3-0 pool play record. Javon has a quick throwing motion that gets the ball out quickly. He showed the ability to push the ball down the field and throw into windows.
