Today we will be taking a look at some of the under the radar specialist that are looking to make a splash this offseason. These are the prospects who are looking to climb the rankings and be some names to know as we move forward.    Donegan is emerging as a long snapper who brings a strong combination of consistency and physicality to the position. His ability to deliver the ball with solid velocity while maintaining accuracy stands out, allowing special teams units to operate efficiently. Donegan shows repeatable mechanics in his snapping motion, which contributes to his reliability and timing. In addition to his work as a specialist, he provides value in the trenches as a lineman. He demonstrates good lateral movement with his slide, being able to combo block effectively. His hand placement is disciplined and he shows the strength to drive defenders off the line of scrimmage. Over the offseason, he has placed an emphasis on improving accuracy and that work has already started to show results. Weadon's performance at the Kohl's Professional Camps helped put him on the radar, as he demonstrated his ability to compete and perform under evaluation. Beyond snapping, he shows the athleticism to get downfield and contribute in coverage, adding another layer to his game. With continued focus on consistency and exposure at camps, Weadon has the tools to continue climbing and draw increased attention from college scouts.     Brust has established himself as one of the more reliable kickers in the 2027 class, combining leg strength with consistent accuracy. His ability to generate touchbacks is evident, recording 49 touchbacks on 81 kickoffs, which highlights both power and control. Brust's consistency extends to PATs, where he converted all 65 of his opportunities, showcasing his dependability in routine situations. On field goals, he demonstrated solid range and confidence, connecting on 7 of 9 attempts with a long of 41 yards. His mechanics appear repeatable and he shows composure in pressure situations. Brust's combination of strength, accuracy and consistency makes him a strong specialist prospect moving forward. Owens delivered an impressive season defined by consistency and execution. He proved to be as reliable as any kicker in his class, converting every opportunity that came his way. Owens finished the season a perfect 36 for 36 on PATs while also going 3 for 3 on field goals, with a long of 42 yards. Patton is a specialist who is focused on taking the next step in his development, particularly in the field goal aspect of his game. He demonstrated solid production on PATs, converting 26 of 31 for an 83 percent success rate. His leg strength provides a foundation to build upon, giving him the ability to extend his range as he continues to develop. Patton faced challenges on field goal attempts, missing all three opportunities during the season, but that experience provides a clear area of focus moving forward. He has the opportunity to refine his technique, improve consistency and build confidence in pressure situations. With dedication to offseason training and camp exposure, Patton has the potential to turn those areas of growth into strengths and emerge as a rising specialist in the 2027 class.
