He plays fast and physical with great range and burst to close. He accelerates coming out of the break with good pad level and leg drive allowing him to close separation and recover. Plays with a violent downhill mentality triggering quickly with direct angles to attack ball carriers and deliver heavy contact. A pure defensive playmaker and competitor that is a difference maker in both coverage and run support. He's able to stop/stack at the POA then shed contact. Uses his athleticism and bend to execute stunts and redirect in pursuit. Shows he can work laterally to chase down the LOS or work downfield to make tackles on cutbacks. Attacks his blocks with good balance and leverage accelerating his feet on contact to create immediate vertical push. Natural power and controlled aggression give him great finishing ability at the POA. Excellent fundamentals and footwork, he stays inside his frame and controls opponents with his hands.
