Ranked Offensive Linemen in the Virginia the Class of 2027

Displays quick feet, with good initial get off the ball. Good latch on defenders to sustain blocks. Has the athleticism to Zone and Space block, and the foundation is there for Gap that will become a good feature of his game as he fills out his frame and improves core strength. He displays solid athletic ability with a quick get off the ball into his blocks. Does a good job getting his hand in pace after the snap to engage defensive linemen. Solid sustain on his block to open a hole for his ball carrier. Solid athlete with good balance and bend. Plays Offensive Tackle in high school, projects to have Tackle or Guard ability at the next level. Good strength and use of hands, with solid block fit and sustain. He displays good lateral agility, balance, and explosiveness. He can be used as a puller and lead blocker in the open field, can come off the ball in the gap to drive defenders, and displays good sustain and finish on his blocks. Admittedly, he is under-ranked in our current update and expect him to be bumped in our future update. His tape shows him at Offensive Guard and Tackle. Currently, I project him as a guard at the next level due to his adequate bend. He has good strength and balance, with solid block fits and footwork to be in position. Will operate best in a power offense due to his size and ability to drive and control defenders off the ball. As he develops his flexibility and athleticism, he can transition to Offensive Tackle at the next level. A nice prospect, a bit underrated in our current rankings.
