The final of our North East Showcases took place in early February, and bolstered a whopping 140 athletes from across the North East, and even Canada. With many athletes missing our New York Showcase, we had a solid group of New York Playmakers ready to ball out in Danbury, CT. In this article, we will take a look at my notes on some offensive athletes, and their performance at our New England Showcase.

Hailing from John Jay, the young 2028 WR, made the trip to Danbury, to showcase his skills. Crystal can play on both sides of the ball, but I like him better as a WR. Standing at 5'10" 185-Pounds, he displays a solid build for a WR.

He clocked in average in the pack in all four combine drills, and put together some solid work throughout the afternoon. His footwork, along with his ability to get separation of the line caught my eye, and I view both traits as strong suits for the Young WR.

The Friars consistently produce major forces on the Offensive side of the ball, and [player_tooltip player_id='2117479' first='Joseph' last='Brandi'] is no different. Standing at 5'10" 225-Pounds, the 2029 Lineman displays an undersized build for an offensive prospect. Adding 40 pounds of good weight will benefit him at the position.

Brandi was near the back of the pack with his combine numbers, but his L-Drill was impressive, and showcased some good speed and a quick burst for a Lineman. I like his hand placement, along with his footwork which was on full display during the showcase.

Johnson is last in part one, and was one of many underrated 2029 Prospects who caught my eye in Danbury. He displayed a good size during the showcase, standing at 5'10" 165-Pounds, which gives him an edge early on.

Johnson had an outstanding combine in Warwick, and certainly caught my eye with his testing numbers. He ranked in the top 60 for each of the four testing drills, and showcased good footwork, along with a High IQ, and good vision.
