As customary with my event coverage, I feverishly write as many notes as I can, as quickly as I can, in order to report on as many prospects as I can. In this feature from Prep Redzone New England's Stock Up Showcase, I share my positional notes for the group aforementioned in this article's title. More coverage on different groups will be forthcoming in the days to follow, so be sure to check back later!

Not sure if the kids today are familiar with this saying, or maybe I am dating myself a bit, but you got to "shake what ya mama gave ya." This was the case for Jackson Lee, in a football sense at least. Standing 6"3" with 187lbs of lean mass on him, Lee did a superb job of creating space with his size. His height, length, and breadth allowed him to not only gain superior leverage than his opponent, but also found ways to maneuver throughout the course of his route in order to separate, get open, and convert... With an offseason ahead of him as he prepares to embark on his junior season, there is much opportunity to be seized for [player_tooltip player_id='2087444' first='Garrett' last='Berube']. An immediate chance to grow for Berube is to concentrate on seeing the ball into his hands. I caught him dropping a pass, as it seemed as though he was looking to get upfield before securing the most necessary part of a reception: the catch. Once this snow melts, Berube should get on the field and work on his route running, particularly his breaks. They looked a bit awkward, but by working on things like snapping his hips, cleaning up his footwork, and adding upper-body fakes, he should create more space by way of cleaner cuts.

Freshman receiver Jacob Ashurov's performance profiled him as an outstanding slot/underneath receiver for an offense to pick up cheat-and-easy yardage. Ashurov make clean breaks on his route and demonstrated sure, reliable hands. Still in a young frame (5'6", 120lbs), he will certainly develop more power as he ages, thus creating more speed and acceleration out of his breaks... As much as speed kills, so does size. The latter was case for [player_tooltip player_id='1656081' first='Payton' last='Flint']. A physically impressive prospect who stood 6'6" and weighed 208, he won consistently at the line with his release. The most quintessential instance of this was how he beat a pressed corner with a stutter release, went vertical, and then completely Mossed his opponent, leaping, what seemed, to the top of the dome, for an high-pointed, uncontested catch he made with his hands.
