As customary with my event coverage, I feverishly write as many notes as I can, as quickly as I can, in order to report on as many prospects as I can. In this feature from Prep Redzone New England's Stock Up Showcase, I share my positional notes for the group aforementioned in this article's title. More coverage on different groups will be forthcoming in the days to follow, so be sure to check back later!

[player_tooltip player_id='1530438' first='Landon' last='Thomas'] might be a mismatch over the middle for offenses to exploit. Although we did not get height and weight on him at this event, we did get an impressive 4.42 shuttle for the 2028 graduate. Thomas seems to recognize his strengths and deploys them to his advantage. He showed during 1v1s that he can recognizes releases and leverages to successfully exploit them. His aforementioned quickness enables him to cross face and get opponent's hips in a blender... Still a youngster, I hope that 2029 graduate [player_tooltip player_id='2118616' first='Stephen' last='Martines'] got the opportunity to chop it up with Thomas. It did not seem as though Martines recognized the leverage the linebacker was playing with. As a result, Martines went against the grain, into the leverage he was playing, and thus had a hard time getting open. Martines did, however, have an outstanding 4.66 forty-yard dash time.

Another 2029 prospect that will surely improve with age and tenure is [player_tooltip player_id='2121807' first='Michael' last='Decicco']. Decicco was a bit too casual with his approach to the game. This might come from where he is with his physical development or the fact that he only played freshman ball to this point. As such, as he continues to play he will most certainly adapt to the speed of play in the higher levels of ball... One of the more "traditional" tight ends in attendance, Xavier Johnson weighed in at 224lbs and stood just over 6 feet tall. He must get looser as an athlete. Johnson did not have a lot of bend in his stance, and as such, could not generate enough burst to push the envelope, putting defenders on their heels, just quite yet. There is still plenty of time too for Johnson, as he is a 2029 graduate.
