Next Wave QBs: Traits and Upside

As can be seen, Franco has a big-time arm to push the football in vertical lengths. Putting the football into tight windows outside the number was a huge trait for Franco. No doubt, he is not afraid to attack and throw over the middle. Equally, he has a smooth delivery when throwing out of the shotgun. Be that as it may, he trusts his arm ability, and fitting the football in tight windows would pop. He has much more of a sidearm delivery, which would come in handy when getting the ball out quickly. Despite being able to hit his receivers in stride, Martinez is an improviser and will scramble when an open lane is presented. He is a dual-threat QB that does a good job extending plays with his legs and conducting the RPO. Further, Childs also displayed a big-time arm to push the football down the field. When plays broke down, Childs was able to find receivers down the field to hit them for huge plays. Throwing off balance with accuracy and velocity is a present ability in his game.
