<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When the final few seconds ticked off the clock at Pitbull Stadium on the campus of Florida International University, it was hard to believe what the scoreboard read.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jacksonville Bolles, a program regarded as one of the best in Florida all season long, headed to the 2A final against Sarasota Cardinal Mooney as a team that was optimistic and had a belief that they would wrap up yet another state title.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Veteran head coach <strong>Matt Toblin</strong> and his team had come into the contest with the Cougars on an 11-game winning streak and had dominated the opposition during that stretch – with talent all over the field.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>But as the game moved along, it was evident that this program would not be the better team on this night.
