<p>The high jump field includes several multisport standouts with at least 6-foot marks, including graduating Ascension Episcopal senior QB/ATH <strong>Branon Mitchell</strong> (6-02.25), Houma Christian junior WR <strong>Rafael Cuartas</strong> (6-02.25), graduating Houma Christian ATH <strong>Carter Fitzgerald</strong> (6-00.00), Lake Charles College Prep junior safety <strong>David Thomas</strong> (6-00.0) and graduating Slaughter Community Charter QB/ATH <strong>Ty'Kimion Ford</strong> (6-00.00).</p>

<p>Lake Charles College Prep sophomore WR/DB <strong>William Plaster</strong> (22-07.75) has the best qualifying long jump by more than 10 inches on a strong field that also features Toney (21-09.50), Delhi Charter junior running back <strong>Tayven Carter</strong> (21-08.25), Mansfield sophomore running back <strong>Jaydan Hamilton</strong> and Mitchell (21-07.25) among the top five contenders. </p>
