Our Winter rankings update pinpointed even more players from the 2027, 2028 and 2029 classes who have stood out in their respective positions. For a variety of reasons, our team decided that each of those new additions were worthy of a coveted spot in our rankings.

But as you've discovered by following along, we're nowhere near done.

As we traverse the offseason, we're also seeing a changing of the guard. And, as such, PRZ South Carolina is constantly looking at as many of the 10,000 or so prep football players in the SCHSL and SCISA ranks as possible.

Now, the Community Film Room is back.

In each edition, we'll break down five unranked players from across the state to let you see what we're seeing. The series will lead right into the the start of the spring rankings cycle, the ever-growing importance of the summer program schedules and then the 2026 season.

In Episode 69, we're taking a good look at a high-motor SCISA defensive lineman, a CSRA quarterback still hoping for even more snaps, an upstate kicker who made waves in his first year of football, a pure people mover of an offensive lineman and a linebacker at a startup who has already started to display some takeover ability.

Our favorite part of Sweet's game is probably why opposing offensive line coaches hate him. Sweet, all 6-foot-3 and 260 pounds of him, can shift from the middle to the edge and back again from one play to the next. He's got the build of a tackle, but more than enough height, reach and footwork to navigate the edge at Pinewood.

What he showed glimpses of as a freshman and sophomore came into pure view during his junior year. It was then than he set career highs in tackles (68), tackles for loss (20.5), sacks (eight), pass break-ups (eight), fumble recoveries (three) and forced fumbles (two).

There's not a division of high school ball in the country where that's not going to play, and Sweet being as dominant as he was in the SCISA Class 3A State Semifinal and Championship game was further proof.

Hilary is only one half of the Yellow Jackets' plans at quarterback's until something happens, and while we'll get to teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1819537' first='Collin' last='Tillman'] in a later CFR, Hillary's contributions in his first full slate with the Yellow Jackets is extremely notable.

He's got an extremely casual - if not unconventional - delivery that allows him to get the ball downfield with ease. Some of that is pretty easy to see from his clips. What also stands out is how Hillary doesn't need everything to be perfect for him to get some serious air under the ball.

On several plays during his junior season, his Spidey sense left him shifting side-to-side or up into the pocket to avoid a deep pass rush. Best part of his game? Despite splitting time, Hillary found a way to still complete north of 60 percent of his passes. That accuracy and high-end potential kept him on the field fighting for more snaps.

There aren't many first-year football players who were able to be as immediately effective as Igo was for Daniel last fall. As a sophomore, he connected on 41-of-43 extra points and hit six of his 10 field goal tries. The lefty has excellent lift to prevent much of a chance to block his kicks at the line.

More importantly, his distances started to increase with rhythm, especially on his kickoffs. After taking over some of the duties there in October, he started pinning teams with those.

Igo, even by the staff's assessment, hasn't even scratched the surface. Last fall, he was still getting used to the consistencies of practice and often didn't turn it on fully until he got under the lights. As the Monday-Thursday routine starts to improve, his numbers on Friday nights will, too.

Watch a few seconds of East's reel and you're going to have the same reaction we got when we asked Strom Thurmond coach Andrew Webb about him: He's an earth mover.

East, who benches 385 pounds (it's on video), is one of the true unsung heroes of the Rebels' 2025 state championship run. The 5-foot-11, 295-pound left tackle is shorter than most at the position, but it didn't matter. He wasn't asked to be fancy, just push people out of the way. And he did that throughout the season. Frankly, few defenders seemed to have even a semblance of the strength necessary to stop that freight train.

He can play defensive tackle in the pinch, but Webb never really messed with a good thing. The plan worked; the Rebels only had three games decided by a single score after the month of September and didn't lose a game. East was a worthy contributor to hoisting the Class 2A trophy.

Atlantic Collegiate found out early in 2025 that Wilson could be useful in a number of ways, and few of them had much to do with the quarterback position he was initially slated to play even a couple years ago. As a tailback, he rushed for 571 yards and 12 touchdowns. Half of those scores came in a three-game stretch to end the regular season and the program's first playoff victory (against Woodland).

But much of that production chased what he was able to do at linebacker, where he piled up 77 total tackles. In losses to Lewisville and Mullins early in the year, for instance, he put 25 total stops, including a career-high 14 against the Auctioneers.

That linebacker spot may ultimately pay more dividends for Wilson, as he's a huge hitter with above-average mobility. We wouldn't be surprised if he ends up playing some strong safety at ACA as a senior or in the college ranks.
