Beyond the MVPs: 12U Shutdown Defenders at the Southern Brawl

The 12U group was loaded with young but talented defensive playmakers across the board, with many impressing us during both days of the Southern Brawl. We highlighted some in our "Defensive MVP Performers" article, but there are several more deserving of attention following the event. Here are 12 more offensive top performers who made some nice plays this weekend!

Noah Autry made his presence felt in multiple ways for Legacy Black. Defensively, he did a nice job patrolling the middle, reading the quarterback and closing windows before throws could develop. He showed good instincts and a willingness to step into traffic, which gave his team stability inside. On the other side of the ball, Autry proved he is more than just a defender. He flashed real big-play potential as a receiver, stretching the field and capitalizing on opportunities when the ball came his way.
