He showcases a quick release due to his good acceleration and foot quickness off the snap. Matthews can create separation off breaks due to good change of direction, balance, and burst. He can adjust mid-route with good hand-eye coordination. Lewis demonstrates smooth route-running skills and has a strong understanding of zone coverage, allowing him to exploit weak spots. Overall, he displays solid body control, hand-eye coordination, and ball tracking.
