1.[player_tooltip player_id='1188109' first='Braylon' last='Pope'] 6-3 195 WR Sumner COMMITTED: Washington

UPDATE: Pope now ranks as the #1 player in the state, helping his team win back-to-back state titles while committing to UW. On the year he caught 52 passes for 869 yards and 12 TDs.

I could see Pope being the #1 recruit in the state for the 27' class with another big season. He went off as a sophomore, helping his team to the 4A title, while earning 1st team all-state accolades in the process. His 68 catches for 952 yards last year speaks to his game.

2.[player_tooltip player_id='1188085' first='Sione' last='Kaho'] 6-3 210 QB Lincoln OFFERS (9) Oregon, Washington, Utah, Ariz St, BYU

UPDATE: Kaho earned 3A 1st team all-state honors at QB, throwing for 2000+ yards and 19 TD's/9 INTs. For his career he now has 6500+ yards passing, hitting on 65% of his throws, with 54 TD's/23 INTs.

Kaho gets the #1 spot but still has a lot to prove. Statistically he has a chance to be one of WA's all-time great QB's, starting as a freshman, and being the only sophomore to earn 1st team 3A all-state honors last year. I would expect him to crush last season's numbers where he totaled 24 TDs (17 passing, 7 rushing) while hitting on 62% of his passes.

3.[player_tooltip player_id='1599603' first='Tevita' last='Nonu'] 6-3 275 DT O'Dea OFFERS (11) Notre Dame, Washington, Cal, Arizona St, Arizona

UPDATE: The big man only played in the last 5 games of the year due to injury but still earned 1st team all-state honors, helping the Irish to another 3A title. He is ranked #1 by some services as the offers speak for themselves.

Nonu makes a big jump up the rankings board with numerous offers coming in over the last few months from the likes of Notre Dame. His mobility in the trenches is incredibly unique, being a key member of O'Dea's undefeated state championship team.

4.[player_tooltip player_id='1315611' first='Zach' last='Albright'] 6-5 235 TE Glacier Peak OFFERS (8) Michigan, Wisconsin, Washington, Texas A/M, Cal

UPDATE: Expect another big off season for Albright. He was a 1st team all state selection at TE with Glacier going 10-2 and losing to 2x 4a state champ Sumner in the playoffs. He has added size and is already a freak athlete.

Probably the fastest rising recruit in the NW. His big time offers outside the region speak to him potentially being one of the top TE prospects nationwide for his class. As a sophomore he put up impressive numbers catching 29 passes for 403 yards and 8 TDs.

5.[player_tooltip player_id='1188082' first='Gecova' last='Doyal'] 6-4 285 OL Puyallup OFFERS (14) Washington, Oregon, Tennessee, Minnesota, Texas A/M

UPDATE: Doyal had a phenomenal season earning 1st team all-state honors as a junior. If he gets out on the camp circuit I could see some more of the nation's top programs offering.

Definitely one to watch with Puyallup being one of the fastest rising programs in the region. I see Doyal projecting more on the interior with this being a huge year from a recruitment standpoint. He earned 1st team all-conference honors as a sophomore.

6.[player_tooltip player_id='1188123' first='Ty' last='Tautolo'] 6-4 240 DE Lake Stevens OFFERS (10) Oregon, Notre Dame, Kansas St, Washington, Texas A/M

UPDATED: Tautolo made the transfer from Snohomish to Lake Stevens and didn't miss a beat, racking up 1st team all state honors while totaling 90 tackles, 30 TFL's, and 6 sacks.

Tautolo makes the move from Snohomish to 4A power Lake Stevens which should allow him to see much improved competition, after earning 2nd team all-conference honors the last two seasons. The offers speak for themselves.

7.[player_tooltip player_id='1188105' first='J'Isaiah' last='Mitchell'] 6-5 180 ATH Puyallup OFFERS (8) Washington, Washington St, BYU, Cal

UPDATE: Mitchell is all of 6-5 and was part of an elite trio of WR's at Puyallup where the ball was spread around. On the year he caught 51 passes for 770 yards and 7 TD's, averaging 15.1 yards per catch.

It's hard to find Mitchell's versatility on a 6-5 frame. I would expect him to have a POY type season as a junior, after earning 2nd team all-conference honors last year, and catching 50+ balls the last two seasons.

8.[player_tooltip player_id='928074' first='Maurice' last='Williams'] 6-2 190 DB Graham Kapowsin COMMITTED: Washington

UPDATED: Williams made the transfer from Yelm to 4A power Graham Kapowsin playing in only 4 games this season. His commitment to Huskies was a good one for both parties.

Williams broke out as a freshman and earned 1st team all-conference honors as a sophomore before making the move from Yelm to Emerald Ridge. His DB MVP accolades at the Under Armour Camp this off season helped solidify him as one of the top defensive backs on the west coast.

9.[player_tooltip player_id='1188110' first='Michael' last='Pulalasi'] 6-0 220 LB Puyallup OFFERS (1) Portland St

UPDATED: I personally would have had Pulalasi listed as the 4A POY in the state of Washington on the defensive side of the ball. He was the only junior to earn 1st team all-state honors at LB, finishing with 93 tackles and 15.5 TFL's.

Another reason Puyallup could be one of the top 4A programs in the state this coming year. Pulalasi makes the move from Lakes after earning conference POY honors on the defensive side of the ball as a sophomore, accounting for 116 tackles with 11 TFL's. Credit to PSU on being the first to extend an offer as he will have many more.

10.[player_tooltip player_id='569907' first='Ayden' last='Bullinger'] 6-5 240 T Graham-Kapowsin OFFERS (2) Montana St, Portland St

UPDATED: I think people are sleeping on Bullinger a little bit. As mentioned he has an ideal frame for the position with the ability to add size. He was named a 1st team all-conference tackle for a GK team that will be a serious 4A contender next season.

I could see Bullinger blowing up this coming year and being a major D1 recruit. The 2x 1st team All Area tackle has allowed 1 sack in the last two years and has the frame to add some significant size which would only help his recruitment.

11.[player_tooltip player_id='1368318' first='Michael' last='Kori'] 6-1 165 ATH Kamiakin OFFERS (3) Oregon St, UNLV, Idaho

UPDATED: As most know, Kori is one of the most versatile athletes on the west coast for his class. He was a unanimous 1st team all-conference selection at WR/CB, catching 38 balls for 784 yards and 8 TDs. He also had 2 INT's and 6 PBU's on D.

Another one of the fastest rising prospects in the region. Kori broke out at the NW Showcase last month, the region's premier event, garnering multiple offers. The 1st team all-conference athlete can play a handful of different positions, going for 850 all-purpose yards and 14 TDs as a sophomore.

12.[player_tooltip player_id='1188077' first='Tayven' last='Collins'] 5-11 180 Safety Cascade Christian COMMITTED: New Mexico

UPDATED: Give Coach Eck all the credit in the world on this commitment. Tayven has some Budda Baker type ability and could end up one of the best defensive players ever to play for the Lobos. He averaged 8 tackles per game on D with 4 INT's, to go with 1300 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns.

Collins has elite football instincts and made a few plays during the HEIR vs FSP matchup that you had to see to believe. He will be a 1A POY favorite at Cascade Christian this coming season, accounting for close to 1600 total yards and 15 TDs, while projecting defensively and making 95 tackles, 3 INTs, and 7 sacks.

13.[player_tooltip player_id='937738' first='Kase' last='Betz'] 5-11 170 WR Graham-Kapowsin OFFERS (3) Montana St, Portland St

UPDATED: I could see Betz being one of the best receivers in the nation collegiately before he's done. He was a state leader in multiple statistical categories, catching 76 passes for 1,221 yards and 12 TDs.

I would consider Betz one of the top two-way threats on the west coast for his class. If he was to end up at Montana St, he would be a perfect example of why they are playing for national championships. As a sophomore he caught 50 passes for 858 yards and 11 TDs, earning 1st team all-league honors at WR. He also added 29 tackles with 4 PBU's and 1 INT on D.

14.[player_tooltip player_id='1969805' first='Gray' last='Longoria'] 6-3 235 OLB/DE Sumner

UPDATED: Longoria was named the SPSL Defensive Lineman of the year and a 1st team all-state selection as a junior. He has some of the best film of any player in the NW.

15.[player_tooltip player_id='2100480' first='Rashaan' last='Lavata'i'] 6-5 250 OL Curtis OFFERS (5) Boise St, Fresno St, San Diego St

UPDATED: Lavata'i has a projection much like his brother who is committed to San Diego St. He has become one of the state's top ranked recruits with an elite upside.

16.[player_tooltip player_id='1892954' first='Jayvian' last='Ferrell'] 5-9 180 RB Lake Stevens

UPDATED: Washington's breakout player of the year went off, helping his team reach the state title game. For the season he rushed 178 times for 1,764 yards and 24 TDs, averaging 9.9 yards per carry. An unreal stat line for a kid with 4.48 speed.

17.[player_tooltip player_id='1241961' first='Will' last='Lynch'] 6-5 260 OL Lake Stevens OFFERS (1) UNLV

UPDATED: Credit to the Rebels on being the first offer as he will likely have numerous other D1 opportunities. He had an outstanding junior season earning 1st team all-state honors on the O line, while showing off impressive mobility on D with 35 tackles, 9 TFL's, and 3 sacks.

Lynch earned 1st team all-league honors this past season after starting every game as a freshman for the Vikings. As of right now he's one of the most underrecruited players in the region considering his D1 projection.

18.[player_tooltip player_id='1368334' first='Elijah' last='Carney'] 6-2 190 ATH Lincoln OFFERS (4) Oregon, Tennessee, Sac St

UPDATED: Carney had a solid junior year making 30 tackles with 3 INTs and 6 PBU's. He also caught 6 TD's offensively. He received the early big time offers, but a lot will be determined this off season from a recruitment standpoint.

Expect a big year from Carney who made 20 tackles with 2 INTs in only 5 games last season. If top ranked QB [player_tooltip player_id='1188085' first='Sione' last='Kaho'] has the season we all think, Elijah could be a primary recipient offensively and thrive on both sides of the football.

19.[player_tooltip player_id='1679407' first='Seth' last='Price'] 6-1 195 WR Lake Stevens OFFERS (2) Nevada, Montana St

UPDATED: Price was clutch all year putting up some of the best numbers statewide while racking up 1st team all-state honors. On the season he had 56 receptions with 912 yards and 14 TDs.

Price made a significant jump up the rankings board after an impressive sophomore year where he averaged 10.2 yards per catch with 5 TDs. He has D1 genes and could just be getting started from an offer standpoint.

20.[player_tooltip player_id='1599631' first='Ashton' last='Pillard'] 6-4 220 TE Sumner OFFERS (2) San Diego St, Montana St

UPDATED: Pillard was a 1st team all-league selection, putting up some of the best numbers in the NW among TE's. For the year he caught 29 passes for 303 yards and a TD for the state champs.

The big TE has had a nice offseason garnering multiple D1 offers and positional MVP honors on the camp circuit. There is still a lot yet to be determined here, but expectations will be high for him and the 4A state champs with Carter Cocke graduating.

21.[player_tooltip player_id='1619207' first='Mose' last='Kalepo'] 6-2 215 LB Bellevue

UPDATED: Watch the film. Kalepo comes from a talented family and has some of that "IT" factor. He was a 1st team all KingCo LB and could blow up this offseason.

22.[player_tooltip player_id='1568794' first='Drenden' last='Knaevelsrud'] 6-4 215 LB Mount Si

UPDATED: Knaevelsrud and teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1555731' first='Jason' last='Armbruster'] give Mount Si one of the best pair of 6-4 defensive players anywhere in the region. Recruiting hasn't necessarily picked up for him yet, but it will. He was a 1st team all KingCo selection.

As mentioned Knaevelsrud was the only sophomore in the 4A KingCo to earn all-league honors, racking up 2nd team accolades and leading the D with 80 tackles. He's added some size and impresses with his overall versatility, being able to play multiple spots on the field.

23.[player_tooltip player_id='1428218' first='Ryan' last='Harrington'] 6-1 200 QB Anacortes OFFERS (2) Washington St, Montana

UPDATED: The 3* QB put up some ridiculous numbers this past season, garnering his first couple D1 offers as well. For the year he passed for 3,334 yards and 36 TD's (32 passing) with a 67% completion percentage. Harrington was named the Skagit Valley Offensive POY.

24.[player_tooltip player_id='584671' first='Julius' last='Hernandez-Avila'] 6-2 225 DE Graham Kapowsin

UPDATED: The SPSL Defensive Player of the Year also earned 1st team all state honors and left no doubt after making the move from 1A Life Christian to GK. He finished the season with 75 tackles and 4 sacks.

I like the move with Hernandez-Avila going from Life Christian Academy where he dominated (51 tackles, 16 sacks, and 28 tackles for loss) to 4A contender GK. He will be challenged and able to show what he can do against the state's top competition.

25.[player_tooltip player_id='1555731' first='Jason' last='Armbruster'] 6-4 225 OLB Mount Si

UPDATED: Armbruster makes a jump up the rankings board, racking up 1st team all-league honors with 34 tackles, 11 TFL's, and 5 sacks. He has the potential of being a legit FCS/Mid Major type guy.

Armbruster made 41 tackles, with 3 sacks, and 5 tackles for loss, in 8 games as a sophomore. I could see him jumping up this list quickly with a good junior year as he has the size and all the intangibles.
