[player_tooltip player_id='1790813' first='Evan' last='Beveridge'], Los Alamos: Earned Class 5A Second Team All-State honors after a solid season for the Loa Alamos offensive line paving the way for stellar running back [player_tooltip player_id='1604744' first='Jordan' last='Herrera']. Going into his third season as a starter for the Hilltoppers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1605059' first='Bryson' last='Bloom'], Alamogordo: Phenomenal two-way player for the Tigers. Rushed for 1,000+ yards and 8 TD on offense and made 64 tackles with 4.0 TFL on defense. One of the fastest players in the 2027 class. Runs the 40 in 4.5 seconds, laser timed. Coastal Carolina has offered. New Mexico State and UTEP have expressed interest. Good size at 6-foot-0, 190 pounds. Elevated to the No. 1 DB in the new 207 rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='1604925' first='Gonzalo' last='Cano'], Belen: One of the most dynamic dual threat QBs in the state. Easily joined the prestigious 1,000-yard club in 2025 when he threw for 1,242 yards and 15 TD and rushed for 1,383 yards and 15 TD. With Cano at the controls, Belen could make a deep run in the 2026 playoffs in November.

[player_tooltip player_id='1605989' first='Aden' last='Clah'], Navajo Prep: Led Navajo Prep to the quarterfinals of the Class 2A playoffs by passing for over 1,500 yards and 16 TD while completing 58.2 percent of his passes. Excellent athlete. Also a solid hoops player for the Eagles.

[player_tooltip player_id='1680049' first='Jaden' last='Gonzales'], Organ Mountain: The 2025 season probably didn't go the way the Knights expected, but Gonzales had an outstanding season with over 1,200 yards passing and nearly 650 yards rushing.

[player_tooltip player_id='1605074' first='Logan' last='Hague'], Albuquerque Academy: Hague goes into his senior season in 2026 with close to 100 career receptions for the Chargers. This past season, he had 59 receptions for 1,031 yards and 7 TD. Integral role in Academy's sometimes lethal passing attack. Potential for 70 receptions in the fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1637643' first='Wyatt' last='Lohr'], Cleveland: Major contributor to one of the top offensive lines in the state this past season. The 260-pound Lohr will be the anchor in 2026. Earned First-Team All-State, All-Metro and All-District honors while helping lead the Storm to a second consecutive Class 6A championship. The No. 1 offensive lineman in New Mexico for the 2027 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1155082' first='Raul' last='Lopez'], Chaparral: Earned Second-Team All-State honors by rushing for over 1,100 yards in 2025, more than doubling his output from 2024, and catching 23 passes for 480 yards. Has helped spark Chaparral's football revival. Good speed and elusiveness. Earned Second-Team All-State honors.

[player_tooltip player_id='1606069' first='Brad' last='Mallory'], Los Lunas: Finished third among 2027 defenders in the state with a staggering 150 tackles and 16.0 TFL. Earned Class 6A Second-Team All-State honors at Inside Linebacker.

[player_tooltip player_id='1791257' first='Ethan' last='Machtinger'], St. Pius X: Even though he's overshadowed by his more celebrated teammates on the offensive side of the ball, few interior defensive linemen in Class 4A were better than Machtinger in 2025. Made 72 tackles (an impressive sum for a DL) with 7.0 TFL, 6.5 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries. Always around the football. That's why he earned First-Team All-State honors.

[player_tooltip player_id='1605057' first='Junior' last='Medrano'], Hobbs: Emerged as arguably the top duel threat QB in the state in 2025, leading the Eagles to the 6A semifinals by putting up impressive numbers: 1,811 passing yards + 1,475 rushing yards + accounted for 38 TD. Hobbs' entire offensive backfield returns in 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='1679938' first='Wyatt' last='Nyholm'], Rio Rancho: Finished as the Rams' top tackler in 2025 with 83 plus 9.0 TFL, 6.0 sacks and 4 QB hurries. All-State potential in 2026. Five of Rio Rancho's top six tacklers in 2025 return next season, so the Rams defense has the potential to be stout.

[player_tooltip player_id='1679776' first='Andrew' last='Sandoval'], Centennial: In his first full season as a starting WR for the Hawks, Sandoval earned 6A Honorable Mention All-State honors by catching 58 passes for 889 yards and 7 TD. Potential to become a 60+ reception, 1,000-yard receiver in 2026. Most of Centennial's major offensive weapons return next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1651252' first='Ajay' last='Vigil'], Cleveland: Key piece of arguably the top WR trio in the state in 2025 and a major contributor to the Storm's 6A championship team with 29 receptions for 446 yards and 2 TD. The Storm will have a new quarterback in 2026 but Vigil and receivers group will be excellent.

[player_tooltip player_id='1604759' first='Johnny' last='Yates'], Bloomfield: Still wondering how Bloomfield was so dominant in 2025 on the way to their second consecutive 4A title? Start with the offensive line. The 255-pound Yates led a group that had all five starters earn All-State honors. He was named First-Team All-State at center.
