[player_tooltip player_id='1329047' first='Cruz' last='Coatney'] possesses a strong arm, good mobility in the pocket, and post-snap awareness to evade incoming pressure. He showcases the ability to step up and slide in and out of the pocket with good footwork. He consistently steps into his throws, generating torque with his hips. Coatney can adjust his release point. He demonstrates good ball placement at all levels. He delivers the football with a good touch to layer it over second-level defenders. I expect him to continue the tradition at Greenwood.

[player_tooltip player_id='1179648' first='Kaveion' last='Smith'] should be taking on a larger role this year. He can exploit running lanes with solid angles and physicality at the point of attack. Smith is athletic and can cover the entire field. Keep an eye on him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1530896' first='Quentin' last='Lavalais'] is another linebacker to watch this year. Lavalais displays good read-and-react skills, staying square while filling gaps to make tackles at the LOS or in the backfield. He has the foot speed and angles to effectively chase down ball carriers. In coverage, Lavalais shows solid lateral quickness, COD, and burst.

[player_tooltip player_id='2082385' first='Elijah' last='Collum'] is a prospect to add to the recruiting board. He's going to break out in a significant way in 2026. Collum displays the ability to win vertically and attack the seam of any defense. He shows good hand-eye coordination and body control. Overall, he's a future redzone threat.

[player_tooltip player_id='1195567' first='Andrew' last='Givens'] is a prospect to watch. Fayetteville is losing a lot of talent, and he could fill the void with a breakout season. He's a vertical threat that can stretch the field and blow right past the opposing defensive back. Givens can make defenders miss post-catch due to solid change of direction, lateral quickness, balance, and upfield burst.
