Top Returning Sophomores on Offense in Iowa Class 2A District 3

He exhibits an ability to plant his foot and get vertical quickly, which is impressive for a running back who is 6'-3". He had 113 carries for 424 yards. He primarily made the biggest impact on defense, but as he learns how to run the ball with his body size, I look for him to get more than 3.8 yards per carry. He was the favorite target with 18 catches for 266 yards and 2 touchdowns. He accounted for over a third of the offensive yards through the air. Carter also averaged over 15 yards per kickoff return. Rausch proved that he was a dual-threat weapon as he also rushed for 146 yards on 68 carries.
