Coming up, we will be breaking down the NW's top 29's and where they might fall on the rankings board. It's still incredibly early with the athletes still being freshman, but here we feature a few elite 9th graders in Oregon and Washington and what they bring to the table.

[player_tooltip player_id='1397350' first='Xavier' last='Berry'] 6-7 275 T Cascade Christian WA OFFERS (5) Oregon, Washington, Oregon St

Berry has continued to grow and develop with his elite frame. As mentioned, you can't teach the size and overall mobility. His recent honors as a Max Preps Freshman All American is just the beginning of what could be one of the most decorated careers of any HS lineman in Washington.

[player_tooltip player_id='1397315' first='Justin' last='Suega'] 6-4 195 WR Federal Way WA OFFERS (3) Washington, San Diego St

Coach Reggie Jones of Heir calls him "Megatron" and potentially the top WR in the nation for his class. Bold words from a former Super Bowl champion. Suega makes the move from Cascade Christian to Federal Way where he will team with scat back [player_tooltip player_id='2079658' first='Ludolph' last='Misher'] to give the Eagles one of the best 2029 combos in the region.

[player_tooltip player_id='1557937' first='Jadis' last='Lefono'] 6-2 195 QB Lakes WA OFFERS (1) San Diego St

Lefono had a crazy freshman year and should be a major recruit recently picking up his first D1 offer from SDSU. He led the varsity squad as a 9th grader, hitting on 64% of his passes for 1,783 yards and 17 TD's/6 INT's. The 6-2 standout is a legit dual threat, also rushing for 400+ yards and 10 TDs.

[player_tooltip player_id='2065218' first='Siosaia' last='Malietufa'] 6-2 175 WR O'Dea WA OFFERS (1) Colorado St

Malietufa just landed his first D1 offer from Colorado St and there will be many more. He was one of the top players in the Metro League as a freshman, garnering 2nd team all-conference accolades. Look for him to thrive as part of FSP on the 7v7 circuit and possibly blow up nationally before his sophomore year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1509111' first='Jagger' last='Salazar'] 6-2 175 WR Lakeridge OR

As most know the Pacers graduate a super talented and deep senior class. Salazar has size and the ability to step up and be influential in the TRL next season. Expect athletes like him and [player_tooltip player_id='1563740' first='Mason' last='Girt'] to be two of the best in Oregon for their class and get on multiple college radars early.

[player_tooltip player_id='2079648' first='Easton' last='Grubb'] 5-11 190 RB Tualatin OR

Grubb showed up at the PRZ Showcase a few weeks back and put on a show. This after rushing for 40 TDs as a freshman at the lower level. He is a different type of athlete and not just a good HS running back. The trio of him, [player_tooltip player_id='1609595' first='Iden' last='Rule'], and [player_tooltip player_id='937241' first='Cole' last='Hachmeister'] is the best in the NW.

[player_tooltip player_id='1906030' first='Drew' last='Sorensen'] 6-3 185 QB Archbishop Murphy WA

Archbishop Murphy has to be stoked landing the transfer from Woodinville. Sorensen started as a freshman in the brutally tough KingCo Conference and did well against elite competition, earning all-league honors. ABM is fresh off a state title run and now has a D1 projected QB leading them.

[player_tooltip player_id='1384751' first='Kehano' last='Corpuz'] WR Graham Kaposwin WA

Even with GK having two other 1000+ yard D1 receivers in [player_tooltip player_id='937738' first='Kase' last='Betz'] and [player_tooltip player_id='985348' first='Jayce' last='Halasz'], Corpuz was unreal as a freshman catching 49 balls for 661 yards and 4 TD's, while also contributing on D. Expect him to be a double digit D1 offer athlete with Graham Kapowsin being a 4A title favorite in the years ahead.
