Cameron Johnson-Hitchens

This kid did a good job of coming out to compete. He knows how to deliver the football. His mechanics are solid. He has a nice release with excellent ball placement. He also plays defensive back on defense. Moving with the football is not a problem for him. We were able to witness him make good throws on the deep ball and short passes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2088991' first='Tre'jon' last='Simpkin']

Simpkin stood out amongst the defensive backs in the junior showcase. He is able to stay smooth in his back pedal. We also saw that he knows how to mirror wide receivers. Simpkin is going to be able to grow into one of the best players in his class if he keeps working hard. There were not a lot of mistakes made on his part.

Bryson Butler

Butler is one of the youngest guys who showed up this past weekend. He was also making it happen. Butler is a 2032 prospect who was holding it down for the defensive backs. He does a good job of staying smooth in his back pedal. We also noticed that he has a lot of confidence. Butler is going to continue to keep growing. We are thinking that he is going to be a nickel back prospect when his recruitment starts.

A'breon Johnson-Green

Here is another good defensive back in the 2031 class who impressed us this past weekend. His ability to change directions at his height is nice. He is not one of those younger guys who is stiff and clumsy. Johnson-Green was able to stay in front of his receivers. He also did a good job of breaking up passes without interfering with the receivers. Be sure to keep your eyes open for his name.
