2027 Rankings Update- Who Are Alabama's Top 5 Prospects?

We have released our new 2027 Rankings Update!   With that, we've got to check out our new Top 5!   These guys dominated the state the last four years and have bright futures ahead of them at the next level. We want to take one final moment to watch and appreciate them before we're watching them on Saturdays, so let's dive in!    [player_tooltip player_id='646290' first='Cam' last='Pritchett'], an Oregon commit, has risen to our #1 spot after another dominant season for Thompson this past fall.   “Pritchett is quick off the snap and immediately generates tons of penetration into the backfield- he's excellent at stopping the run and generates tons of pressures/sacks as a pass rusher.   Pritchett is a hard prospect to slow down in the trenches- he dominates opposing OL with his power and speed and consistently makes or assists his teammates in making game-changing plays.“   Be sure to check out some of Pritchett's film below. He and Thompson are set up for another huge year in 2026.      [player_tooltip player_id='1015233' first='Gunner' last='Rivers'] is a talented QB who's risen all the way up to our #2 spot after another standout season at St. Michael Catholic.   "Rivers has been one of the most productive passers in the state over the last few years   At 6'2 175, Rivers has great size, serious arm talent, and a terrific understanding of the game- all of which help him carve up defenses across the state. I love how Rivers throws the ball. He's accurate, can push his throws downfield, and does an excellent job finding and hitting his targets in stride- leading to massive plays for his offense."   Rivers had another unbelievable season. He completed 69% of his passes for 3176 yards and 46 TDs: 5 INT with another 200 yards and a TD on the ground.   Rivers is a seriously talented QB with the best ahead of him. He has a huge senior year ahead next fall.      [player_tooltip player_id='1189059' first='Jabarrius' last='Garror'], a talented EDGE committed to Alabama, is our #3 player in our new update.   “Garror is extremely athletic coming off the edge- he has an explosive first step,  quick/aggressive hands, and plays with an elite combination of size, speed, and pursuit that makes him a game-wrecker every down. It doesn't matter what opposing offenses attempt to run; Garror has the natural ability to quickly diagnose and blow up plays.   Garror is a special pass rusher. He completely wrecks the line of scrimmage every snap and flies into the backfield to generate tons of pressure and sacks."   Garror was incredibly productive, recording 106 total tackles (44 solo, 32.5 for loss), 21 sacks, 18 hurries, and one FF.   Garror has put together some incredible tape over the last few seasons. Be sure to check out his tape below, he's ridiculously fun to watch.      [player_tooltip player_id='216690' first='Trent' last='Seaborn'] capped off another state title run for Thompson last fall and is coming in as our #4 player in the state this update.   “Seaborn has a terrific understanding of his offense and what to do with the ball- he scans the entire field, makes great decisions, and quickly gets the ball out, never putting it in harm's way. On top of his mental attributes, Seaborn has a heck of an arm he uses to make difficult throws all over the field- he's a top-tier passer with tons of talent and potential.“   Seaborn was terrific this year, completing 71% of his passes for 3692 yards and 35 TDs: 7 INT and another 5 TDs on the ground.   Seaborn is committed to Alabama and has had a legendary career at Thompson these last few seasons. Make sure you watch out for him in 2026; he's sure to have a big year ahead.      [player_tooltip player_id='1610214' first='Jayden' last='Aparicio Bailey'] is a talented S now at Prattville who's coming in as our #5 player in the state this update.   “At 6'2 180, Bailey is highly athletic, has great size, plays with impressive speed, and provides excellent coverage and run support from the safety position. In coverage, Bailey is a ball hawk DB who consistently flies around the field to pick off and break up passes- it's seriously difficult for QBs to throw against him, he's terrific at locating and tracking the ball in the air.   Bailey is just as productive against the run- he flies downhill to fill in lanes and rack up tackles down by the line of scrimmage for little gain. I'm most impressed with Bailey's skills in pursuit- he plays with a ton of effort and has great closing speed that he uses to make hustle plays against the run from deep downfield.“   Bailey has picked up offers from everywhere in the country. Be sure to watch out for him next year; he's a huge addition to an already talented Prattville defense.
