Florida has long been a hotbed of high school football talent. Annually, Florida produces some of the nation's top prospects. Florida athletes are known for their speed, agility, and raw athleticism. These prospects have made names for themselves and have caught the attention of coaches and scouts at the collegiate level. With the 2025 season over, we're looking for players whose stock is rising in the state.

These players are all talented and have college-level abilities. Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.

There are some big-time, highly rated prospects and several sleeper prospects who should all be getting looks for the next level. This list is full of stud prospects.

Prep Redzone Florida will always support every player on their journey to playing college football.

Waylon Williamson – CB/FS, Hernando High
Height/Weight: 5'8”, 160 lbs
Season Stats: 15 tackles, 4 interceptions, 5 passes defensed. 2-sport athlete (Baseball)

Scouting Report: Williamson is a quick, instinctive defensive back with strong ball skills and good closing speed. He reads the quarterback well and shows natural anticipation when breaking on the football. His baseball backgroundshows up in his hand-eye coordination and ability to finish interceptions.

Analysis: Williamson projects as a rangy defensive back who can thrive in off-coverage and split-field safety looks. Adding strength will help him handle bigger receivers, but his instincts, competitiveness, and playmaking ability give him clear upside in the secondary.

Milton Harrell – Slot Corner/Safety, Jefferson High
Height/Weight: 6'1”, 170 lbs
Season Stats: 85 tackles, 6 TFL, 1 sack, 5 interceptions, 8 passes defensed, 3 fumble recoveries, 3 forced fumbles. 2nd Team All-Conference

Scouting Report: Harrell is a physical, high-motor defender who impacts the game in multiple ways. He plays downhill with confidence, shows strong tackling ability, and has the versatility to cover in space or operate near the box. His production reflects both his instincts and toughness.

Analysis: Harrell profiles as a versatile hybrid defender capable of handling slot coverage, run support, and safety responsibilities. Continued refinement in man coverage will raise his ceiling, but his physicality, versatility, and consistent production make him a reliable defensive presence.

Desmond Lee Jr – CB, East Lake High
Height/Weight: 6'3”, 175 lbs
Season Stats: 54 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 sack, 4 interceptions, 8 passes defensed, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 blocked punt. 2-sport athlete (Basketball)

Scouting Report: Lee is a long, athletic corner with excellent length and range. He uses his frame well to disrupt passing lanes and contest catches at the point of attack. His basketball background is evident in his timing, leaping ability, and spatial awareness.

Analysis: Lee projects as a boundary corner with strong upside due to his size and athletic profile. Improving hip fluidity and overall technique will help him stay connected against quicker receivers, but his length and playmaking traits are difficult to teach.

Antwon Brown – Safety, Gulf High
Height/Weight: 5'11”, 165 lbs
Season Stats: 45 tackles, 2 TFL, 3 interceptions, 4 passes defensed, 1 fumble recovery. 1st Team All-Suncoast

Scouting Report: Brown is a reliable, assignment-sound safety with good range and awareness. He diagnoses plays quickly and takes efficient angles to the football. His ability to stay disciplined while still making plays on the ball stands out on film.

Analysis: Brown projects as a dependable back-end defender who can provide stability and communication to a secondary. Continued physical development will help him handle contact at the next level, but his instincts and consistency make him a strong defensive piece.
