The Iowa West Sports Plex was once again the hotspot for NE/IA talent as we held our annual PRZ Stock Up Showcase. Despite a snowstorm a few days earlier, we still saw nearly 100 prospects attend to showcase their talents, ranging from seniors to rising freshmen.

Continuing coverage with a few of the players who really stood out in my eyes. Here are five prospects who SHOULD be on your radar asap!

[player_tooltip player_id='1085197' first='Sage' last='Giddings'], 2027 - RB - Omaha Westview (NE) - 5'9" 205 lbs - (@SageTooShifty) (RB MVP)

Taking home back-to-back RB MVP honors is Omaha Westview's [player_tooltip player_id='1085197' first='Sage' last='Giddings'], who continues to rise through the ranks with a breakout junior campaign and strong camp showing. Sage excels as a powerful, downhill runner who can use his 5'9", 205-pound frame to barrel through defenses as he chips away at them with every run. Giddings flashed the other side of his running abilities, and that's the top-tier shiftiness that makes him such a tough back to tackle in open space. During drills, Sage demonstrated elusive twitch and very quick feet, enabling him to cut and shift in tight quarters with ease. Giddings is also an underrated receiving back who runs solid routes, using double moves to get defenders to bite before cutting back across their face to create separation. Strong base and good balance also help him stay upright as he battles through contact. Great vision and anticipation to find the open lane with excellent burst as he explodes through it. There should be a strong market for the Westview RB as he goes into his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1581450' first='Gavin' last='Siemek'], 2028 - RB - Elkhorn South (NE) - 5'8" 180 lbs - (@GavinSiemek)

Another RB who has had consecutive standout Stock Up performances is Elkhorn South sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1581450' first='Gavin' last='Siemek'], who looks like the next man up in a long line of elite RBs for the Storm. Gavin started with solid testing numbers, including a 4.63 40-yard dash, 4.53 shuttle drill, and a 7.25 L-drill. What really caught my eye about Gavin's game is his versatility, being both a runner and a great receiver out of the backfield. Siemek is fast, shifty, and runs with great vision, but can also run routes and catch like a receiver. He looked very natural during RB drills, with a sharp cutback ability, low pad level, and strong balance. Very explosive first step downhill as he hits his gap and can quickly hit his top speed to finish his runs in the endzone. Early "2026 breakout candidate."

[player_tooltip player_id='1581452' first='Hunter' last='Conkey'], 2028 - DB - Elhorn South (NE) - 6'3" 180 lbs - (@hunterconkey) = (DB MVP)

The Elkhorn South Storm are in good hands with tons of talent in their younger classes, including rising sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1581452' first='Hunter' last='Conkey']. Hunter is a lengthy, athletic 6'3", 180 lb defensive back who recorded strong testing numbers alongside next-level measurables. Conkey posted a 4.57 40-yard dash, 4.15 shuttle drill, 9'6" broad jump, and a 6.88 L-drill. This combination of speed, explosiveness, and agility provides Hunter with an excellent skill set as he continues to develop in the upcoming seasons. Conkey flashed his massive upside in 1v1s, where he did a great job keeping up with some of the top receivers in attendance. He has the speed to keep from giving up the deep ball, and his change of direction allows him to stay in the pocket of shifty receivers. Hunter demonstrated strong instincts in playing through the receiver's hands to break up passes. Buy stock now!

[player_tooltip player_id='1742869' first='Greyson' last='Scott'], 2026 - DL - Scotus Central Catholic (NE) - 6'3" 240 lbs - (@greyson_scott70)

Scotus Central Catholic DL (and OL) [player_tooltip player_id='1742869' first='Greyson' last='Scott'] was a big riser in the 2026 class after a great senior campaign and someone who is just starting to scratch the surface. Greyson is a player who could play either OL or DL at the next level, but his performance at the Stock Up Showcase really showed that he might have a higher upside on the defensive end. At 6'3" and 240 pounds, Greyson has solid size with room to pack on some more mass to his frame easily. He has a great motor, evident in 1v1s, where he consistently picked up wins. He starts with a great get-off, which helps him fire out of his stance and make an immediate impact on the blocker. Scott can then use his strength to bully his way into the opposing backfield or make a quick inside move to get his opponent off balance and speeding through. He has a strong base that keeps him from being moved off the ball, and he can hold the edge to contain outside runs. Effective hand usage to disengage from blockers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2062081' first='Huxton' last='Katt'], 2027 - LB - Lincoln East (NE) - 5'11" 200 lbs - (LB MVP)

I was very impressed by Lincoln East LB [player_tooltip player_id='2062081' first='Huxton' last='Katt'] in my first in-person evaluation. Huxton stands out with a strong, sturdy frame at 5'11" and 200 pounds while also possessing the athleticism and range to make plays all over the field. Katt was one of the top combine performers among LBs with his best attempts resulting in a 4.65 40-yard dash, 4.37 shuttle drill, 9'5" broad jump, and a 7.03 L-drill. Although the sitiuation is different in an "unpadded" camp than a real game, I think Huxton's motor and physicality still managed to shine through especially in 1v1s where he stood toe-to-toe with some of the top running backs in attendance. He moves very well with a sharp break on the ball, guided by quick instincts that allow him to flow from sideline to sideline. When dropping into coverage, he can impose his will on receivers by pressing them and disrupting their timing. Good hand skills to break up passes at the catch point. Clean footwork, solid bend, good balance, and loose hips. Katt really stood out at LB, even earning LB MVP honors, but I could also see him receiving looks at running back as well.
