<p>Once again this past season, there were so many elite performers that continued to get the job done every week, and our objective is to make sure that fans and colleges and universities around the country know all about what are athletes are doing.</p>

<p>Once again today – right in the middle of the state football playoffs – we give you 10 players who more than stepped up their game this season.</p>

<p><strong>2027 – Samuel Boatwright, DT, 6'1, 250, Southwest Ranches Archbishop McCarthy – 3.6 GPA. </strong>What an amazing junior season for this quality talent who helped lead his Mavericks to a district title and three rounds deep in the state playoffs. He ended with 59 total tackles (24 solo), several sacks and numerous QB pressures which led the way all season.</p>

<p><strong><br>2027 – [player_tooltip player_id='1727501' first='Carter' last='Bonilla'], OLB/DE, 6'1, 180, Miami Gulliver Prep – 4.9 GPA. Lacrosse. </strong>As the Raiders moved closer to a state playoff appearance, prospects like this impressive underclassman continued to make key plays, and by the end of the season and a state playoff appearance, he finished with 63 solo tackles (36 assisted), seven tackles for loss, 2 sacks, three forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and three pass break ups.</p>

<p><strong>2027 – Tyrone “Ty” Calton, FS/S/CB, 5'11, 165, Tampa Gaither – 3.6 GPA. </strong>During an impressive 10-2 season for the Cowboys, this talented and versatile standout made an impact with 58 total tackles from different [positions in the secondary that also included four interceptions, a forced fumble and six huge pass breakups.</p>

<p><strong>2029 – Teo Edwards, QB, 5'10, 175, Auburndale – 3.5 GPA. </strong>Want to talk about a future star on a program that is definitely on the rise and you have this impressive talent that more than turned heads during his freshman season with 2,151 yards and 26 touchdowns through the air – and contributed 564 yards and five touchdowns on the ground. He threw just five picks all year! This is a run/pass QB for the future.</p>

Baseball Prospect. </strong>What a sophomore season it was for this standout athlete during a season where the Tigers won the district and were the top seed in the region. His 140 total tackles (81 solo), 18 tackles for loss, six sacks, four hurries, two interceptions, three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.</p>

<p><strong>2028 – Jaylen Francis, Athlete/WR/DB, 5'10, 161, Port Charlotte – 3.7 GPA. </strong>This two-way standout was one of the huge reasons the Pirates went four rounds deep in the state playoffs this season. How about 23 receptions and an eye-catching 912 all-purpose Yards and seven touchdowns on offense. He also made an impact on the defensive side of the ball. Finished with over 300 return yards as a kick/punt returner. He is someone to keep an eye on over the next two years and throughout the off-season.</p>

<p><strong>2027 – [player_tooltip player_id='1697114' first='Jaylen' last='Jones'], Athlete, 6'3, 185, Blountstown – 3.5 GPA. </strong>During a run at a state title and an amazing year for his team, this outstanding prospect finished the year in control on both sides of the ball with 1,526 passing yards, 25 passing touchdowns on 83 of 131 and nine rushing scores on offense. Defensively, he had an interception, 3 pass break ups and a fumble recovery for a score.</p>

<p><strong>2027 – Patrick “Pat” Robinson, CB, 5'10, 160, Parrish Community School – 3.9 GPA. </strong>After an amazing season (9-2) for the Bulls, this versatile talent finished the year with some eye-catching numbers such as 33 total tackles, nine pass breakups, and one of the biggest stats for a defensive back – no touchdowns allowed.</p>

<p><strong>2026 – Cam West, Athlete, 6'0, 170, Orlando Dr. Phillips – 3.0 GPA. </strong>This 4.4 (40-yard dash) speedster showed his versatility as a dual threat quarterback this season with over 1,200 yards passing and over 800 yards on the ground for an impressive 2,000-yard total offense season that also included 20 touchdowns for a state playoff team. By the way, he missed two games for the Panthers.</p>
