The East-West All-Star Game took place at Austin Peay's campus on Saturday, where some of the top talent in the state gathered for one final event of the year.

Team East came out on top 22-16, but there were studs on both sidelines.

I'm breaking down my five offensive standouts from the game and discussing what they did.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='1254853' first='Bronzden' last='Chaffin'] – Upperman

Team East barely threw the football, but [player_tooltip player_id='1254853' first='Bronzden' last='Chaffin'] was the perfect quarterback for the system they were running. He completed two of five passes for 22 yards, but accounted for 104 and two scores on the ground.

The 6-foot-4, 235-pound signal caller is a dynamic weapon with a high ceiling due to his abilities on the ground. He's a smart runner with good speed and vision, then a cannon for an arm.

While he needs to work on his accuracy and touch, he possesses all the physical tools to excel at the next level.

QB Jaden Thomas – Whitehaven

Whitehaven quarterback Jaden Thomas is a dual-threat player as well, but is more polished as a passer. He completed 14 of 20 passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns, while running for another 66 yards.

He's a smaller player than Chaffin, but still offers solid size. Thomas's arm strength is decent, and he typically is a good decision maker.

The senior signal caller is highly elusive, has good vision, takes care of the football and has nice touch on his passes.

Photo: Goodpasture RB [player_tooltip player_id='492601' first='Caden' last='Stroud'] at a Prep Redzone camp.

RB [player_tooltip player_id='492601' first='Caden' last='Stroud'] – Goodpasture

The East used multiple runners to gash the West's defense, but [player_tooltip player_id='492601' first='Caden' last='Stroud'] was the second most impressive one, consistently churning out yardage.

He toted the rock 12 times for 60 yards, including an 11-yard run that set up a rushing touchdown.

Stroud is an impressive tailback who, although compact, runs hard and is built like a bowling ball. At 5-foot-11 and 210 pounds, he's a handful to tackle, often running through defenders on the first attempt.

He doesn't have blazing speed, but a 4.57 40-yard dash will play when you're a powerful runner.

The Goodpasture star RB possesses good vision, solid footwork and impressive burst once he hits the hole or gets to the edge.

WR [player_tooltip player_id='1630972' first='Cade' last='Brooks'] – East Robertson

The Bowling Green State wide receiver signee only caught two passes on Saturday, but they were a pair of vital receptions, including a deep touchdown.

[player_tooltip player_id='1630972' first='Cade' last='Brooks'] hauled in a 10-yard pass to move the chains on third down. Then, of course, his 34-yard deep shot cut the opponent's lead to a point.

At 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds, he's built well for a slot receiver with the athleticism to be a do-it-all guy.

The senior wideout caught 51 passes for 1,176 yards and 13 touchdowns in 13 games this season.

WR [player_tooltip player_id='966033' first='Brandon' last='Goliday'] – Antioch

[player_tooltip player_id='966033' first='Brandon' last='Goliday'] has been that guy all year, totaling 1,666 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns in 12 games with the Antioch Bears.

He signed with the Arkansas State Red Wolves two weeks ago, but came to the East-West Game to showcase his talents one final time on the high school stage.

He had a solid game, catching four passes for 47 yards and a score, while being open multiple other times throughout the game.

Goliday is well-built and boasts great athleticism, crisp route running, nice footwork and strong hands.
