With our region's first significant snowfall imminent and looming, I was back on the grind. On Saturday, December 13, 2025 Prep Redzone was boots-on-the-ground in Warwick, New York as we hosted our latest rendition of the Stock Up Showcase. Below are my notes from the position group referenced in this article's title.

I start my positional notebook series with covering the two tight ends I happened to record remarks on. The first, was [player_tooltip player_id='2059786' first='Andrew' last='Johnstone'], a 2028 graduate. Johnstone showed good feet during indy, indicating that he can get to his landmarks and spots, cutting sharply. Additionally, throughout his routes during 1v1s his hands were active, fighting to gain leverage. His feet plus his hands indicate that this rising junior should get to his spots and own them with ease. One instance, however, a sizzler came in hot his way - a bit too hot for him to handle... I got a look at [player_tooltip player_id='2076768' first='Francesco' last='Doran']. Doran ought to make every rep of his count. My impression was that he took them for granted, knowing another one will come, and sort of went through the motions at times.

A big body receiver that I overheard many of the coaches commenting on, in a positive manner, was [player_tooltip player_id='1649560' first='Brantley' last='Oji']. Oji did an excellent job of moving - especially given his size. Although the event ops team was unable to get official measurements on him, t the naked eye I would guess he was close to about 6'4" and 190lbs. Moreover, he used his ability to move, as well as the frame he has grown into, to create space at the line of scrimmage... Where many receivers might be a bit out of control when coming out of their breaks, almost like he was a defender, [player_tooltip player_id='2079944' first='Salvatore' last='Vakili'] came to balance out of his breaks extremely well. This allowed him to be a 9-way threat in the direction he could next go.
