New Jersey Stock Up Showcase: Linebacker Notes

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>After a day or two to say "thanks," I was back on the grind. On Saturday, November 29, 2025 Prep Redzone was boots-on-the-ground in Jackson, New Jersey as we hosted our latest rendition of the Stock Up Showcase. Below are my notes from the position group referenced in this article's title.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:separator --> <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" /> <!-- /wp:separator --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With tremendous size (5'11", 180lbs) and room to grow (2029 graduate), [player_tooltip player_id='2060300' first='Sincere' last='Ebanks'] might have been the one linebacking prospect with the most upside. I did not get a thorough look at him; however, I remarked that there might be something there. Ebanks - especially for his age - showed that he is able to start-and-stop fluidly and with ease... Another prospect that piqued my interest was [player_tooltip player_id='1880924' first='Gavin' last='Parks']. Parks, a 2028 graduate, appeared to be trying out a new position. Given the way he moves, I figure that he might be better suited with his hand in the dirt. He has a solid frame that looks like it can withstand the continual banging in the trenches and he appeared to be very receptive to the coaching he received.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>For Suenens Saint Fluer to succeed as he prepares for his senior season he needs to lower his pad level. Because he played high and his breakdown was inconsistent, I noticed Saint Fluer infrequently coming to balance and subsequently lunging during his reps... On the contrary, [player_tooltip player_id='1684768' first='Louis' last='Mazzarisi'] found himself in solid position and posture throughout the reps I saw him take. However, Mazzarisi must attack! During a handful of instances, it seemed as though he was a bit too patient, almost looking to catch, rather than forcing the issue.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Closing out is the young linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1429267' first='Mason' last='Corbato']. Corbato shows that he has been the recipient of solid coaching at a young age. Despite pad level that could be improved upon, he was exceptional at tracking the ball carriers hip. Moreover, as he grows he will certainly accelerate to his drop more quickly.
