One of the games to watch is the slugfest that is expected to be between Carver-Columbus and Hapeville, as both of these teams were underdogs at one point through the state title chase. He finished the game last week with a major performance. He finished the game with multiple touchdowns and nearly 200 yards on 20 carries. He has shown time and time again that he is an issue for opposing teams to try and stop. I look at him as a guy who will make a difference from top to bottom on the stat sheet, and if he gets it going in the championship game, then the opposing team will be in a world of hurt. He finished the game last week with a total of 11 tackles and two sacks on the day. This is absurd for them to be playing a solid Burke County team that made it all the way to the semi-finals. Nearly every school in the area wanted Givens, and that speaks to the value that he brings, as he is a guy who is an absolute game wrecker day in and day out. I look for him to throw more than double the amount of passes that he did in the game last week, but I don't think you will be seeing him hit more than 14. This is what makes him important. He is a guy that this team will rely on heavily, as the pressure that Carver generates is intense. Guys like Booker will have a tall task, but this isn't something different.
