Slate set the tone up front on both sides of the ball and is an under-the-radar small college prospect who has the potential to develop into a future starter at the next level. At 6'2 280, Lucas has the size to play at the D3 level and showed promise in his limited first three games tape. He manned the center position for the Patriots this season and was an underrated part of their success up front that helped produce back-to-back 2,000-yard rushing seasons from RB Brannan Wack.
