BOOM Football held their annual Best of the Best camp on Sunday afternoon at Westmont Yard. The event, which in past years has been held on MLK Day weekend, was hosted earlier this year and saw plenty of top prospects from the Midwest in attendance. Here is part two of our top performers report from the camp.

Donnel Sallis is a prospect the staff at Immaculate Conception is very excited about. Tall, strong and displaying great hands as a TE/WR, he made a great acrobatic catch in one-on-ones against some tough coverage LBs and managed to come down with the ball in his possession. Has great body adjustment high and low. As a defender he was very good in coverage, timing the ball well with his hands and breaking up passes. Legit 6-foot-3 prospect as a 2029.

[player_tooltip player_id='1120450' first='Darin' last='Ashiru'] is a strong wideout with a high ceiling. He shows much more burst and speed than his junior fall tape, has soft hands over the middle of the field and can be a very crafty route runner. Great hands in traffic, quick in/out of his breaks and could see him being an electrifying playmaker at the next level. Physically strong, looks like he loves the gym.

Daniel Sago passes the eyeball test at 6-foot-5 plus. Size, height and arm length allows for a wide catch radius and gives him ability to easily high-point the ball. Needs to develop some speed/burst as well as a route runner but with his size and frame he has a chance. Sogo is a tall sip of water who could add some bulk to his lanky frame and he is still a raw prospect, but if he figures it out he could wind up being one of the Midwest's top prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='1671946' first='Jonathan' last='Harris'] was arguably the top corner at the camp. At 6-foot-1 plus he has the frame and potential. Tough cover corner with feisty use-of-hands, very physical, plays with high effort and does a great job of breaking up passes / timing with his hands. Harris has a lot of upside. No offers yet, but the Brother Rice Class of 2027 cornerback strikes me as a very underrated player.
