2027 Rankings Update 6.0: TE

The latest class to be updated in state of Kentucky is the class of 2027. With the class update being officially posted, I will be taking the next week to break the rankings down by position. Driver was dominant in the passing game, leading his team with 49 catches for 875 yards and 11 touchdowns in 15 games. He has the ability to use his speed and smooth breaks in his routes to create separation with ease while also showing the ability to use his high catch radius to make contested catches when necessary. Driver was also used as a short-yardage back out of the backfield this season, carrying the ball 25 times for 116 yards and three touchdowns. He also made a big impact on defense, recording 65 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, two sacks, and a team-high five interceptions (two returned for touchdowns). Hager is a reliable vertical threat down the seam in the passing game, using his speed to create separation. He is also dangerous after the catch, showing the strength to run straight through defenders to pick up extra yards. He played a huge role in the Holy Cross passing attack, catching 21 passes for 314 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games this season. They used him a lot on the outside on the single receiver side where he was able to use his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs with ease in the deep passing game. He is also a very reliable jump ball target, using his athleticism to attack passes at their highest point and strong hands to come away with catches through contact. Hunt also threw a touchdown pass this season and made an impact on defense, recording 28 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks. He made a big impact in the Covington Catholic passing game, catching 17 passes for 349 yards and four touchdowns. Pitzer does a great job of getting a good chip on the defensive end then rubbing off into the second level to pose as an open target down the field. After the catch, he has shown the speed to get up the field in a hurry then run away from the defense. Pitzer also scored one rushing touchdown and made an impact on defense as a junior, finishing the year with 56 tackles and a sack. Stivers is a big, physical tight end who is an excellent blocker in the run game. He explodes out of his stance and does a great job of running his feet through contact to drive his man out of the picture with ease. Stivers also showed the ability to serve as a reliable target in the passing game, using his speed to get down the seam and get open with ease. Jack finished this season with nine catches for 100 yards and six touchdowns in 14 games.
