<p class="text-gray-700">Brazil is one of the best available edge rushers across the central valley and is heavy handed and technically sound while able to play anywhere along the defensive front. He shows good first step explosion, quickly sets his hands on blockers and gets extension and inside placement while able to violently shed blocks without giving up ground. As a pass rusher, he can bend the corner to get underneath bigger blockers or win with primary/counter moves at the POA with quick hands and a high IQ when rushing and understanding different pass sets. He can play either off man or up near the line and is physical at the POA, has quick hips in transition and recovery speed/length if beat inside and is able to make plays on the ball with return abilities and open field speed. He is a jumbo athlete with strong hands, a huge catch radius and moves extremely well for his size downfield while a diverse route runner that can create seperation or bully defenders in the red-zone. Thomas is a mismatch nightmare on smaller defensive backs and is very physical in-phase and after the catch while tough to take down in the open field and extremely physical with the ball in his hands. He rushed for nearly 1,000 yards and 7 touchdowns in 6 games and was a two-way star for the Dons. He is a big and physical athlete that moves well for his size, has downfield speed/contact balance and is a tough/bruising runner.
