2026 Rankings New Additions: Under-rated norcal prospects

Schager is one of the top dual-threat signal callers in the northern California region that remains available and had a very productive season for one of the top schools in the northern section. He is a elite runner with a strong initial burst, contact balance through the first level and has good vision in tight spaces while efficient at running a run heavy option/toss system. He is a very high IQ player that can fit the ball into tight windows and gets it out quick with good zip on the ball and touch on deeper passes while able to throw on the run and buy time with his legs. Schager is a very good athlete that can play multiple positions at the next level or in the right system will excel behind center and is one of the better athletes available across Norcal.     Devany was one of the more disruptive and technically sound edge players across the valley in 2025, and lands on on our final WL rankings for this 2026 class. He is heavy handed at the POA and plays with a low hat, quickly resets the LOS and shows he can pursue backside and has closing speed and solid COD/short area twitch when pass rushing. He is a high motor kid that is seemingly always around the ball and can quickly knife into the backfield and win with either speed/bend or initial punch and power against bigger tackles. He has been picking plenty of D3 offers and can play inside or out at the next level and should make a immediate impact at the D3+ level in college.     McGee is one of the more under-rated two-way athletes across the Sacramento region and is a fluid athlete with great ball skills, return abilities and big play tools with the ball in his hands. In coverage he is a smooth peddler with a quick hip turn in transition, breaks immediately to ball carriers on the perimeter and is a excellent open field tackler. Offensively, he is a sure handed receiver that can beat zone coverage and has impressive top end speed/quick twitch and natural hands when snatching the ball out of the air. He is another under-recruited kid that flew under the radar and can make a impact at the next level at a 2 year or 4 year school.     Sherley is still a developing prospect with some untapped potential and upside due to his natural athleticism and big frame with the ability to continue packing on weight. He has a big catch radius, strong hands in traffic and can go up and win on 50/50 balls, especially in the red-zone. He is a long strider that chunks yards off the ball quickly and shows good physicality after the catch with some contact balance and is tough to take down in the open field. Once he fully commits to transforming into a tight end in the run game, he is going to be a plus athlete for the position and make a positive impact on a college roster.     Scott can play anywhere on the defensive back end and is a very aggressive and physical player that can slot in as a safety or corner and is technically sound with elite closing speed and a feel for the ball. He shows he is very physical near the LOS in press coverage and can play man with fluid hips and disciplined eyes to not let receivers into his blind spot before making a play on the ball and is comfortable in space coming up to make tackles in the open field or sniff our screens/draws from the third level. Scott should be a nice late add to a college program at either the 4-year or JUCO level and enters into our final WL rankings before we close out the 2026 class.
