2026 Offensive Players Moving Up In Rankings

He is a kid from Gulfport who put the state on notice this season. He was once committed to Louisiana. The power four schools started coming into play and that has changed up for the stud off of the coast of Mississippi. He is playing in the state championship game against Tupelo this week.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1625750' first='Broderick' last='Peters']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Peters is a big boy from McComb who is committed to Southern Miss to play tight end. He made a lot of incredible plays this season. We had to make sure that we moved him up. There is no denying that he is one of the best players in the state of Mississippi. This kid is electric when he hits the football field. He does a good job of handling business in the trenches.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2072166' first='Tristan' last='Edwards']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Edwards is a quarterback from Louisville who stepped up big for his team this season. He threw for over 2000 yards, and he only had one interception. He also threw 20 touchdowns. This is a young man who college coaches need to take a look at. There is a junior college program out there who could use a kid like him. He is going to protect the football on every single drive. He will get the football to his target with no problem.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1093793' first='Reed' last='Taylor']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Taylor is another player who came out and stepped up big for his team. You are not going to be able to deny that he is one of the best offensive linemen in the state of Mississippi. He has been showing off some good mechanics for his football team since his freshman season. We think that he is going to be a problem to deal with on the next level. You are going to see him making the right throws for his team. We have known for a long time that he was a guy to deal with. Now, coaches are able to see that when they go to see him play. He is going to be a problem for a long time.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1407627' first='Xzavier' last='Webber']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Webber is a baller who has been doing his thing for a long time. He knows how to make plays happen on offense. He has been a major help to Heritage Academy. You are going to always see him out there making plays on the field. He is able to do it against any competition. His coaches have known that he was a player who they can really count on to make plays on both sides of the football.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='998328' first='Christian' last='Cordell-Fields']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cordell-Fields is a big boy who can go up and get the football. He plays for Oxford. It would not surprise us if he were a player who gets moved to tight end on the next level. He has good hands that go up and get the football with ease.
