Thankful for Touchdowns: Central Texas Round Three Standouts

<p>We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, but now it's time for football. As we prepare for Round Four action next week, it's also a great time to highlight some of the electric performances from a thrilling Round Three. Today, let's recap the top offensive performances out of the Central region of the Lone Star State.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">The Unicorns' senior signal-caller was elite in a dominating Round 3 win over Boerne-Champion, totaling over 400 yards with efficiency and grit. Golla piled up over 330 yards through the air and a tick under 100 on the ground, also getting the ball into the endzone four times. He thrives at evading pressure in the pocket and either delivering strikes downfield or taking off with his legs. Levi throws a great deep ball with stellar accuracy from an array of arm angles. He is a true athlete at the QB position and excels at taking what the defense gives him, no matter the opponent. With over 3,000 total yards and 32 touchdowns, Levi will look to continue balling out and lead his squad to a state title. He has received offers from.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Elvis was electric in an absolutely massive win over Steele, spinning the rock with precision and power at all levels of the field. He showcased elite arm strength, great downfield vision, and accuracy to all levels of the field. Estrada loves to rip passes with velocity over the middle of the field, demonstrating anticipation and precision. Estrada has totaled over 3,000 yards this season on an effective clip, with 38 TDs to only 4 INTs on a 72% completion percentage. He's as efficient as you'll find under center statewide. We shall see if the Jags' gunslinger can finish off this dreamlike season with a state title. He thrives at winning at the line of scrimmage, boasting an excellent release and big-time physicality when pressed. Thompson was jumping and diving to reel in passes all over the field, showcasing great athleticism, ball-tracking, and body control. He stacked up a ridiculous 16 receptions to the tune of 157 yards. This was no fluke, though, as he had been producing all season for the prolific offense, compiling nearly 800 yards and 11 touchdowns on the season. He was calm and surgical from the pocket all night long, bouncing around and going through his progressions until windows opened downfield. Chase did a great job of getting into his throws downfield and consistently hitting receivers in stride on the deep ball. But, as his 100% completion percentage suggests, Chase also did a great job of taking what the defense gave him and checking down to intermediate routes. He's totaled over 3,300 yards and 49 TDs in his breakout season. Watch for him to light it up through a deep playoff stretch. He was finding the endzone all night by breaking tackles with physicality and stellar contact balance. Barrett was toting the rock with purpose inside and outside the tackles and even taking it from the wildcat position. He plays with great pad level and thrives at running falling forward. He has had a remarkable senior season, accumulating over 2,100 total yards and an absurd 44 touchdowns.
