Florida has long been a hotbed of high school football talent. Annually, Florida produces some of the nation's top prospects. Florida athletes are known for their speed, agility, and raw athleticism. These prospects have made names for themselves and have caught the attention of coaches and scouts at the collegiate level. With the 2025 season getting closer, we're looking for players whose stock is rising in the state.

These players are all talented and have college-level abilities. Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.

There are some big-time, highly rated prospects and several sleeper prospects who should all be getting looks for the next level. This list is full of stud prospects.

Prep Redzone Florida will always support every player on their journey to playing college football.

Romeo Williams – Coral Glades High (c/o 2026)
Height/Weight: 5'10”, 180 lbs
Season Stats: 162 carries for 998 yards, 6 TDs; 6 receptions for 67 yards; 4.57 40-yard dash

Scouting Report: Williams is a smooth, natural runner with the long speed to threaten defenses on the perimeter. He shows good acceleration through the second level and has the stride length to stack yards quickly once he finds daylight. His elusiveness in space and ability to bounce runs outside give him true big-play upside.

Analysis: Williams brings a blend of speed, vision, and fluid athleticism that translates well to the next level. Continued growth in his strength and contact balance will round out his game, but his burst and open-field ability already make him a legitimate college prospect with upside.

Kenson Louis – MacArthur High (c/o 2026)
Height/Weight: 5'9”, 185 lbs
Season Stats: 85 carries for 831 yards, 5 TDs; 13 receptions for 228 yards and 1 TD

Scouting Report: Louis is an explosive space-playmaker with quick feet and natural fluidity. He accelerates rapidly through cutback lanes and creates chunk plays with his short-area burst. His receiving production also stands out, he runs clean routes out of the backfield and is dangerous when matched with linebackers in coverage.

Analysis: Louis has the traits of a modern all-purpose back. His agility, vision, and pass-catching ability give him value on all downs. Adding muscle mass and improving his interior running consistency will elevate his profile, but his playmaking ability already flashes college-level potential.

Zachariah Ray – Plantation High (c/o 2026)
Height/Weight: 5'9”, 175 lbs
Season Stats: 114 carries for 919 yards, 4 TDs; 9 receptions for 127 yards and 1 TD

Scouting Report: Ray is a twitchy runner with excellent lateral quickness and sharp change-of-direction ability. He slips through traffic with ease and has enough burst to turn small openings into meaningful gains. His agility makes him particularly effective on outside runs and designed edge plays.

Analysis: Ray's elusiveness and acceleration give him a high ceiling as a playmaker. Increasing his play strength and improving yards after contact will strengthen his every-down reliability, but his natural athletic tools and versatility are clear indicators of next-level potential.

Damian Dickenson – Western High (c/o 2026)
Height/Weight: 5'9”, 190 lbs
Season Stats: 144 carries for 886 yards, 7 TDs; 8 receptions for 94 yards

Scouting Report: Dickenson is a physical, downhill back who runs with toughness and discipline. He keeps his pads low through the hole and consistently finishes forward, showcasing strong balance on contact. His frame and running style fit well in gap and power schemes.

Analysis: Dickenson's strength, motor, and reliability make him a steady producer. While he doesn't rely on flash or long speed, his physicality and consistent decision-making are traits that translate well to college systems. Continued development as a receiver will expand his role versatility.

Travis Gamble Jr – Southridge High (c/o 2026)
Height/Weight: 5'8”, 180 lbs
Season Stats: 97 carries for 886 yards, 12 TDs; 10 receptions for 113 yards

Scouting Report: Gamble Jr is a compact, low-centered runner with excellent balance and natural instincts. He finds small creases with patience and decisiveness, and his ability to stay upright through contact makes him a threat in short-yardage and red-zone situations. His receiving numbers highlight his versatility.

Analysis: Gamble's combination of vision, speed, toughness, and functional quickness makes him one of the more efficient backs in his class. Adding more strength will help unlock even more explosive plays, but his well-rounded skill set already mirrors a college-ready profile.
