Sweetwood is a overall very impressive athlete and can play multiple positions on either side of the ball at the next level. He is a true dual-threat signal caller with a strong arm, accuracy in tight windows and can deliver on-schedule throws both across the middle and on outbreaking routes. With his legs, he shows he can buy time when scrambling, execute designed runs inside and can throw across his body without losing zip on the ball with good spin and throw power when squaring his shoulders and stepping into it. Another prospect that has been stacking good weeks, he had another strong showing last week accounting for 3 touchdowns and nearly 200 total yards of offense. Hillcrest has a big time battle this week with Twin Falls after a 35-14 win over Lakeland last weekend.

Vidlak is one of the top athletes across the state regardless of class, and is a true dual threat playmaker that should really see his recruitment takeoff this off-season. He has taken recent visits to SDSU, Boise State and Montana State and is rated a 3-star prospect per 247-Sports. The dual threat signal caller has been having a stellar Junior season and has accounted for over 3,000 yards and 40+ touchdowns heading into Friday nights showdown against Kimberly. He had another stellar performance last week throwing for over 350 yards and 5 touchdowns in a big time win over Buhl. Vidlak should be drawing plenty of Big Sky and Mountain West attention this off-season and should be closing in on his first offer soon.

One of the surprise rushers on the year across Idaho, the Bishop Kelly product has been on a tear this post-season and has been one of the top rushers we have seen in recent weeks. He is a bruiser inside with sneaky open field speed, contact balance through the hole and runs hard behind his pads with natural forward lean and leg drive through tacklers. So far this year he has rushed for 719 yards and 10 scores while tacking on another score receiving. He is a big time pace setter for the Knights offense and brings a physical and explosive running style to the system. On Friday night he erupted for 127 yards and 2 scores against Blackfoot and will lead Bishop Kelly into the quarter-finals against a loaded and fast Skyline team on Friday night.

Jones is perhaps the top skill player in the entire state since making the transfer into Idaho from Oregon, and is a key reason why Rocky Mountain has been on a tear so far this season leading up to their game this week against a always tough Rigby team. Jones is a natural pass catcher with elite route running abilities, strong hands and tracking over the top while able to create seperation downfield and make big plays after the catch. As a running back, he is a smooth operator with quick feet in the hole, vision in tight spaces and start/stop abilities with true home run speed once in the clear. He has accounted for 13 total touchdowns and 1,200 all-purpose yards so far this season and has been a truly do it all guy for the Grizzlies. This past week was no different as he posted 100+ total yards and 1 INT on defense against Eagle on Friday night.

Payne is one of the top returning rushers heading into the offseason and is another prospect that will find his name in our rankings update happening in the next few weeks for the 2027 class. He is a twitchy and elusive runner with elite open field speed and a strong burst at the first level. He shows he can be shifty with lateral sudden movements to make tacklers miss and can hit a second and third level gear in the clear. More of a elusive and scat-back runner, he is also a excellent receiving option out of the backfield and can run a diverse route tree if needed from the backfield or slot. He is a no-brainer D3 ball carrier and should draw college interest through the off-season. Payne finds himself on this weekly top performers list once again after rushing for 100+ yards and 1 score while adding a interception on defense as well.
