<p>The Cougars of Sandy Creek claimed the Eight Man-1 state title in dominant fashion with a 62–26 win over the Warriors of Crofton, powered by one of the greatest individual performances in Nebraska finals history. Senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1590722' first='Kamerin' last='Sealey'] delivered a record-setting night, accounting for nine total touchdowns—the most ever recorded in a Nebraska state championship game. Sealey threw for 272 yards and two touchdowns and added 203 rushing yards and five scores on the ground.</p>

<p>In the passing game, Sandy Creek received big-play production from its junior receivers. [player_tooltip player_id='2065256' first='Logan' last='Tomky'] hauled in 3 receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown, while junior tight end [player_tooltip player_id='1085910' first='Wes' last='Biltoft'] posted 3 receptions for 119 yards and two touchdowns.
