Florida has long been a hotbed of high school football talent. Annually, Florida produces some of the nation's top prospects. Florida athletes are known for their speed, agility, and raw athleticism. These prospects have made names for themselves and have caught the attention of coaches and scouts at the collegiate level. With the 2025 season getting closer, we're looking for players whose stock is rising in the state.

These players are all talented and have college-level abilities. Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.

There are some big-time, highly rated prospects and several sleeper prospects who should all be getting looks for the next level. This list is full of stud prospects.

Prep Redzone Florida will always support every player on their journey to playing college football.

[player_tooltip player_id='1640250' first='Lane' last='Roberts'] – Calvary Christian High (c/o 2026)
Height/Weight: 5'8”, 195 lbs
Season Stats: 107 carries for 991 yards, 17 TDs
Additional: 4.5 40-yard dash, 3.72 GPA

Scouting Report: Roberts is a compact, powerful runner who plays with terrific lower-body strength. His ability to accelerate through tight lanes and finish runs with authority separates him from most backs his size. He has excellent vision, quick decision-making, and shows the burst to create chunk plays when the crease opens. His balance through contact is one of his strongest traits.

Analysis: Roberts is a high-effort, high-production back who consistently maximizes his touches. His combination of speed, power, and football IQ makes him one of the more college-ready runners in the Tampa Bay area. With his academic profile and athletic testing numbers, he has clear next-level upside.

Kameryn Manneh – Williston High (c/o 2026)
Height/Weight: 5'6”, 150 lbs
Season Stats: 113 carries for 940 yards, 11 TDs
Additional: 4.53 40-yard dash

Scouting Report: Manneh is a lightning-quick back who excels in space and thrives on making defenders miss. His agility stands out immediately—sudden lateral cuts, sharp change of direction, and the acceleration to break contain and outrun angles. Despite a smaller frame, he's tougher than expected and finishes runs with effort.

Analysis: Manneh's ability to generate explosive plays makes him a legitimate offensive weapon. He fits perfectly in a scheme that prioritizes speed and perimeter touches, such as outside zone or spread concepts. Continued physical development will only raise his recruiting stock.

[player_tooltip player_id='1140881' first='Tymir' last='Gaines'] – Mount Dora High (c/o 2026)
Height/Weight: 5'10”, 188 lbs
Season Stats: 136 carries for 935 yards, 8 TDs; 9 receptions for 130 yards
Additional: 4.4 40-yard dash, 3.5 GPA

Scouting Report: Gaines is a smooth, athletic runner with excellent acceleration. He shows patience behind the line, lets blocks develop, and then hits the crease with real burst. His ability to contribute as a receiver adds an extra layer to his game, giving him true dual-threat value. He has the speed to erase angles and the frame to handle consistent workloads.

Analysis: Gaines brings one of the most balanced skill sets in this group with vision, speed, and versatility. His pass-catching ability makes him an every-down back who can stay on the field in any situation. With continued production, he's a prospect college staffs will keep a close eye on.

[player_tooltip player_id='1583285' first='Timothy' last='Gaynor'] – South Sumter High (c/o 2026)
Height/Weight: 5'10”, 190 lbs
Season Stats: 124 carries for 928 yards, 15 TDs; 4 receptions for 38 yards
Additional: 3.4 GPA, All-District selection

Scouting Report: Gaynor is a physical, decisive runner who thrives between the tackles. He reads blocks well and consistently makes the correct downhill cut. His lower-body strength and forward lean allow him to push piles and generate extra yards after contact. He runs with purpose and understands how to finish drives.

Analysis: Gaynor profiles as a dependable workhorse-type back. He has the toughness and consistency that coaches love, along with strong situational awareness. His productivity in a competitive district highlights both his talent and reliability. A high-floor prospect with room to grow.

Will Mirabella – Alonso High (c/o 2026)
Height/Weight: 5'9”, 175 lbs
Season Stats: 134 carries for 923 yards, 9 TDs; 8 receptions for 146 yards
Additional: 4.48 40-yard dash

Scouting Report: Mirabella is a fast, fluid runner with impressive open-field acceleration. He shows good patience on zone runs, allowing blocks to develop before exploding into space. His ability to contribute in the passing game gives Alonso flexibility in how they deploy him. He runs lighter but uses quickness and angles to avoid clean hits.

Analysis: Mirabella brings dynamic playmaking to the Alonso backfield. His combination of speed and receiving ability makes him a modern-style offensive weapon. As he continues to add strength, his already impressive explosiveness will become even more effective at the next level.
