Concordia Prep vs. Calvert Hall: Top 5 offensive performers

He also threw the game-winning touchdown pass with less than a minute left in the game. I don't know his exact stats for the game, but I do know he made timely passes and runs to move the sticks for his team. Most importantly, he didn't turn the ball over. The defensive back was draped over him, but he caught it over his shoulder and held on in the end zone. Morozov had at least one other catch that I saw. It was a game that featured a lot of ball control, and Holmes picked up 4-6-yard gains throughout. He was also featured in the short passing game, where he got the ball in space and made a few things happen. But what he did do was help CP move the ball against a Calvert Hall defence that was pretty stingy (CP scored 7 points). He didn't have a gain, that I saw, over 10-plus yards. But he was able to get a few 5-6-yard gains and catch a few passes out of the backfield. I thought he was solid when it came to throwing passes in the short-to-intermediate game. Afoa also made some timely passes downfield to get some key first downs in the game. He's mobile, and I thought I might see him run the football a little bit more out of the pocket.
